‘Peace and Security’ Will Not Be The Outcome Of Dividing Israel For A Palestinian State

Breanna Claussen

In a press conference on Wednesday, President Joe Biden, never letting a crisis go to waste, insisted that a two-state solution should be the ultimate outcome of the war in Israel.

“There’s no going back to the status quo as it stood on October 6th,” he stressed. “That means ensuring that Hamas can no longer terrorize Israel and use Palestinian civilians as human shields.”

“It also means that when this crisis is over, there has to be a vision of what comes next, and in our view, it has to be a two-state solution,” Biden urged.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, speaking to the UN Security Council on Tuesday, similarly pushed the idea that a two-state solution is “the only road to peace and security in the region.”

The current status of Gaza showcases that creating a Palestinian State, providing a deal could even be reached, would not breed a peaceful outcome. When Israel left Gaza in 2005, the land went from a thriving region to a bastion of terrorism against the Jewish State.

In addition, the Palestinian Authority (PA) has continued to demonstrate its genocidal views against the Jewish People, with a new report highlighting that nearly $3 million could be paid out to terrorists’ families by the PA for the October 7th massacre.

Iran, the largest state sponsor of terrorism in the world, would continue to funnel money, just as they do with Hezbollah in Lebanon, to accomplish their goals of eradicating Israel.

As Olivier Melnick recently underscored, “As much as the Palestinian narrative has wanted us to believe it was, this was never about the land. This has always been about the complete annihilation of the Jewish people and the complete eradication of the State of Israel from the world map.”

Hal Lindsey likewise wrote: “Even if [Netanyahu] can depose Hamas, the nature of this conflict means that a similar group will arise. Hatred against Israel is not about land, rights, or money. It is a tenet of [Islamic] faith.”

Rewarding terrorists with land and autonomy couldn’t possibly bring peace to the region. So why are the Biden administration and numerous world leaders championing this “solution”? The answer is found in Scripture.

A two-state solution advocates for the dividing of Jerusalem, with the east portion of the city being given to the Palestinians for their state capital.

God told the prophet Zechariah that a time would come when Israel is re-established, and the world would be fixated on the idea of dividing the Jewish State, specifically Jerusalem.

In Zechariah 12:3, God warned the nations: “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”

It can safely be said that “peace and security” will not be the outcome of creating a Palestinian state. It may be worth noting that Blinken’s language to the UN Security Council echos another prophecy in 1 Thessalonians 5:3, which states, “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

The seeming complexity of bringing peace to the Middle East is not complicated when we examine the region through a Biblical worldview. The Bible provides a detailed understanding of Israel’s history and future. In its divine precision, God’s Word even illuminates the intentions in the hearts of those seeking to destroy or divide the world’s only Jewish State.

Promises To Cripple The Demonic Regime In Iran Are Politically Damaging If The Administration Doesn’t Follow Through

Repeated promises to cripple the โ€œDeath to America, Death to Israelโ€ regime, only to follow those threats with renewed invitations to the negotiating table, appear neither to have deterred Tehran nor convinced Americans that success is approaching. President Trump now faces a choice. He can allow this cycle of confrontation, negotiation, and escalation to continue, or bring the conflict to a decisive conclusion.

If The Church Will Not Teach The Truth About Israel, Someone Else Will Gladly Teach The Next Generation A Lie

There is a spiritual battle raging today over one nation unlike any other in history. That nation is Israel. It seems everyone has an opinion about Israelโ€”politicians, journalists, influencers, podcasters, celebrities, and social media personalities. Sadly, one of the few places where many Christians are not hearing about Israel is from the pulpit. That silence has come at a tremendous cost. The issue of Israel has become a dividing line in the Church. Entire denominations, Bible colleges, seminaries, pastors, and Christian influencers are abandoning the biblical view of Israel and replacing it with theological systems that deny Israelโ€™s future.
