Muslims desecrated memorials to the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in New York City and in Concord, California. The memorials were erected to remember the day that Muslims waged jihad on American soil and slaughtered nearly 3,000 of our fellow countrymen.
In Concord, the Muslims draped a banner over a 9-11 memorial inside the Memorial Gardens Cemetery, advertising a new Islamic garden. It was later removed after much outrage from local residents.
Danny Kimmel told NBC News that the Muslim banner over the 9/11 memorial, located in front of the cemetery where his mother is buried, โI felt a punch to the gut.”
And in New York City, Muslim prayer rugs were thrown across a memorial to the more than 400 firefighters who were killed on 9/11. One firefighter wrote, โAs someone who respects the sacrifices made by all FDNY members, I believe the Muslim group involved, along with city leadership, showed a real lack of sensitivity.โ
The memorial was located inside the Fire Department of New Yorkโs headquarters, and top brass says they meant no disrespect.
Many are wondering if the desecrations were unintentional or if perhaps the Islamists were sending a message.
The Islamists have a history of invading and conquering nations dating all the way back to the seventh century. Christians and Jews were slaughtered. And the cultural heritage of the conquered nations was destroyed.
The American people would do well to take a crash course in Islamic history.
The message that is inscribed on the fire departmentโs memorial is a declaration โ โwe will never forget.โ But Iโm afraid thatโs exactly what weโve done. Weโve forgotten. And there will be a price to pay for that.
