Biden-Harris Admin Tries To Take Credit For Sinwar’s Death Despite Repeatedly Restraining Israel

The Biden-Harris administration tried to take credit for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) killing Hamas terrorist leader Yahya Sinwar this week.
In a statement published by the administration, President Joe Biden claimed: “I directed Special Operations personnel and our intelligence professionals to work side-by-side with their Israeli counterparts to help locate and track Sinwar and other Hamas leaders hiding in Gaza.”
“With our intelligence help, the IDF relentlessly pursued Hamas’s leaders, flushing them out of their hiding places and forcing them onto the run,” he said.
The administration trotted out Vice President Kamala Harris to deliver a statement on Sinwar’s death in an apparent attempt to make her look more presidential following her disastrous interview with Fox News host Bret Baier.
Harris’ remarks were nearly identical to Biden’s, but she did not use his name or reference “the president.”
“In the past year, American special operations and intelligence personnel have worked closely with their Israeli counterparts to locate and track Sinwar and other Hamas leaders, and I commend their work,” she said.
She later concluded with: “I will always work to create a future of peace, dignity, and security for all.”
After her remarks, she bolted out of the room and refused to answer questions.
Israel managed to kill Sinwar despite numerous hurdles that the Biden-Harris administration forced Israel to overcome, including pressuring them to not enter Rafah, the location where Sinwar was killed; threatening an arms embargo; slow-walking weapon deliveries to Israel; demanding that Israel unilaterally agree to a ceasefire; and more.

‘Evil Has Suffered A Severe Blow,’ Netanyahu Says After Sinwar Elimination

“Evil has suffered a severe blow,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday night following the confirmation of Hamas terrorist leader Yahya Sinwar’s death in a southern Gaza shootout.
“The man who committed the most terrible massacre in the history of our people since the Holocaust, the mass murderer who murdered thousands of Israelis and kidnapped hundreds of our citizens, was eliminated today by our heroic troops,” the prime minister said.
Sinwar, the architect of the Oct. 7, 2023, massacre in the northwestern Negev, was shot dead on Wednesday by Israel Defense Forces troops in southern Gaza’s Rafah area, the army confirmed earlier on Thursday.
The Palestinian terrorist leader “was eliminated after hiding for the past year behind the civilian population of Gaza, both above and below ground in Hamas tunnels in the Gaza Strip,” according to the IDF.
Netanyahu noted in his taped video statement on Thursday evening that “one year ago, we celebrated Sukkot. At that exact time, Yahya Sinwar was engaged in the final preparations for the Oct. 7 massacre.
“To the dear families of the hostages, I say: This is an important moment in the war. We will continue with all our strength until all your loved ones—who are our loved ones—return home,” the premier continued.
Netanyahu called on “everyone who holds our hostages” in the Strip to lay down their weapons and hand over the captives, promising that the Israeli military will allow terrorists who surrender to “leave and live.”
“Now it is clear to everyone, in Israel and throughout the world, why we insisted on not ending the war,” the longtime Israeli leader continued. “Why we insisted, despite all the pressure, to enter Rafah, the fortified stronghold of Hamas where Sinwar and many of the murderers hid.”
In a separate statement, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant noted that the Sinwar “joins a long series of eliminations,” including that of Hamas “military” leader Mohammed Deif and Hezbollah’s Hassan Nasrallah.
“Sinwar died while beaten, persecuted and on the run. He didn’t die as a commander, but as someone who only cared for himself. This is a clear message to all of our enemies—the IDF will reach anyone who attempts to harm the citizens of Israel or our security forces, and we will bring you to justice,” Gallant said in a statement released by his office.
Addressing Palestinian terrorists, he continued: “It is time to go out, release the hostages, raise your hands, surrender. Go out with the hostages, free them, and surrender,” Gallant concluded.
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi issued a statement on Thursday night after he met with the soldiers who killed Sinwar.
“The troops acted correctly, with professionalism and determination—not because they knew Sinwar was there, but because our soldiers excel in every encounter with terrorists, in all sectors,” Halevi said.
“The boldness, determination and bravery of IDF troops operating in all arenas led us to him and brought about his end. We said we would get to him, and indeed, we got to him,” the general continued.
“We will not stop until we capture all the terrorists involved in the October 7 massacre and bring all the hostages home,” he said.

Hamas Leader Yahya Sinwar, Mastermind Behind Oct. 7, Eliminated By IDF, Foreign Minister Israel Katz Announces

In a message to dozens of foreign ministers around the world, Foreign Minister Israel Katz confirms that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was killed, becoming the first Israeli official to do so on the record.
“The mass murderer Yahya Sinwar, who is responsible for the massacre and atrocities of October 7, was killed today by IDF soldiers,” says Katz, according to his office.
“This is a great military and moral achievement for Israel and a victory for the entire free world against the evil axis of radical Islam led by Iran,” he continues.
Katz says the killing “creates a possibility” for getting the hostages out immediately and for creating a Gaza free of Hamas and Iranian control.
“Israel needs your support and assistance now more than ever to advance these important goals together,” Katz finishes.

Danon Blasts UN's Claim Of 'Starvation Policy' In Gaza: Hamas Robbery Is To Blame, Not A Shortage Of Aid

The UN Security Council convened on Wednesday for an emergency session on the humanitarian situation in northern Gaza, with some member states expressing scathing criticism of Israel over collateral damage, the displacement of Palestinian civilians and an alleged “deliberate calculated Israeli policy of starvation.”
The meeting was called at the request of the UK, France and Algeria, following the IDF’s operations in the area of Jabalia and accusations from the UN’s Office for Coordinated Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) that Israeli authorities have “increasingly cut off northern Gaza from essential supplies.”
U.S. Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield told the council that a policy of ‘starvation‘ would not just be “horrific and unacceptable,” but also has “implications under international and U.S. law“.
“The government of Israel has said that this is not their policy, that food and other essential supplies will not be cut off, and we will be watching to see that Israel’s actions on the ground match this statement,” she said.
Her remarks came after mounting pressure from the Biden administration that has threatened to cut off military aid to Israel, if it doesn’t make a sufficient effort to improve Gaza humanitarian situation within 30 days.
Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations Danny Danon attacked the claim and denied the shortage of aid. He emphasized that “the problem is not the amount of aid entering the Strip but the fact that Hamas robs the trucks entering Gaza“.
“The only way to improve the humanitarian situation in Gaza is to defeat Hamas and completely disarm it,” Danon added.
The Israeli ambassador noted that Israel “remains committed to working with our international partners to ensure aid reaches those who need it” in Gaza.

Macron Is 'A Disgrace To France,' Gallant Charges After Israeli Companies Banned From Warfare Show
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Friday entered a war of words with French President Emmanuel Macron, after Israeli companies were banned from displaying their wares at a top defense industry show.
“French President Macron’s actions are a disgrace to the French nation and the values of the free world, which he claims to uphold. The decision to discriminate against Israeli defense industries in France a second time – aids Israel’s enemies during war. This builds on the decision to place an arms embargo on the Jewish State.
France has adopted, and is consistently implementing a hostile policy towards the Jewish people. We will continue defending our nation against enemies on 7 different fronts, and fighting for our future – with or without France.

Analysis — Aligning Against God: CBS Urges Staff Not To Acknowledge Any Jewish Connection To Jerusalem

Last week, World Israel News (WIN) reported that “in an internal memo circulated in August, Mark Memmott, CBS News’s senior director of standards and practices, emailed colleagues urging them to ‘be careful with some terms when we talk or write about the news’ regarding Israel and Gaza.”
“One of the many hot-button terms,” WIN explained, “was ‘Jerusalem,‘”
Memmott urged in his memo, “Do not refer to [Jerusalem] as being in Israel.”
The CBS senior director continued this by saying, “Yes, the U.S. embassy is there, and the Trump administration recognized it as being Israel’s capital. But its status is disputed. The status of Jerusalem goes to the heart of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Israel regards Jerusalem as its ‘eternal and undivided’ capital. At the same time, the Palestinians claim East Jerusalem—occupied by Israel in the 1967 Middle East war—as the capital of a future state.”
According to WIN, “Memmott insisted that journalists not only refrain from referring to Jerusalem as Israel’s capital but deny that any area of the city is part of Israel.”
Wow! I am amazed at how ignorant people can be when it comes to Israel. It is especially shocking when this level of ignorance comes from those who should know better and are supposed to be reporting the truth—unbiased, with facts. It is sad to say that that is not the case among much of the media.
For Mark Memmott at CBS, and really much of the world, to think that Jerusalem is in any way a “Palestinian city” connected to a “long lost land called Palestine” is absurd and entirely ridiculous!
The word Jerusalem isn’t found even once in the Quran, but it is mentioned over 800 times in the Bible. Furthermore, Jerusalem has been connected with the Jewish people for the past 3000 years. That’s history, and CBS, as well as the world, need to do their homework.
Even more importantly, let’s look at the Word of God and see what the God of this universe has to say about Jerusalem.
Psalm 132:13-14 reads, “For the Lord has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His dwelling place: ‘This is My resting place forever; Here I will dwell, for I have desired it.‘”
Ezekiel 5:5 states, “Thus says the Lord God: ‘This is Jerusalem; I have set her in the midst of the nations and the countries all around her.’” In other words, God has placed Jerusalem in the center of the world.

Macron: Israel Was Created By UN, Netanyahu Should Not Forget It

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should not fail to forget that a UN resolution created Israel, French President Emmanuel Macron said while convening with ministers on Tuesday, according to Le Parisien.
“Netanyahu must not forget that his country was created by a decision of the UN. Therefore, he should not liberate himself from the decisions of the UN,” the French daily newspaper cited Macron as saying behind closed doors.
Macron‘s remarks referenced the UN Resolution 181 adopted on November 29, 1947.
“A reminder to the French President: It was not a UN decision that established the State of Israel but the victory that was achieved in the War of Independence with the blood of our heroic fighters, many of whom were Holocaust survivors, including from the Vichy regime in France,” the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) stated in response.
“It would also be worthwhile to recall that in recent decades, the UN has approved hundreds of antisemitic decisions against the State of Israel, the purpose of which is to deny the one and only Jewish state’s right to exist and its ability to defend itself,” the PMO added.
Earlier this week, Netanyahu asked UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres that UNIFIL soldiers be evacuated from their posts in southern Lebanon.
“The IDF has requested this repeatedly and has met with repeated refusal, which has the effect of providing Hezbollah terrorists with human shields,” Netanyahu said.
Guterres rejected Netanyahu’s call for evacuation, with the UN chief’s spokesperson, Stephane Dujarric, affirming, “Peacekeepers remain in all positions, and the UN flag continues to fly.”

Axis of Ezekiel 38? - Turkish President Erdogan calls for Russia, Iran, Turkey, Syria alliance against Israel

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoǧan told local media on Saturday that Russia, Iran and Syria should do more to protect Syria’s “territorial integrity.”
“It is essential that Russia, Iran and Syria take more effective measures against this situation, which poses the greatest threat to Syria’s territorial integrity,” Erdoǧan said when asked about the recent alleged Israeli airstrike in the nation’s capital, Damascus.
Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) accused Israel of carrying out an airstrike in the Mezzah neighborhood in Damascus on Tuesday night.
SANA quoted a Syrian military source saying, “The Israeli enemy launched an aerial aggression with 3 missiles from the direction of the occupied Syrian Golan, targeting a residential building at the densely populated Mezzah neighborhood in Damascus, claiming the lives of 7 civilians, among them women and children, injuring 11 others in initial toll and causing huge material damages to properties.”
The missiles hit a building close to the Iranian embassy. Several reports claimed that the building was being used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Erdoǧan has consistently criticized Israel since he came into power a decade ago, despite several attempts to improve economic ties between the two nations. Since the start of the Gaza War last October, Erdoǧan has increasingly attacked Israel and sided with Hamas.
Shortly after the Hamas invasion and massacre of southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, the Turkish president canceled a planned trip to Israel and refused to condemn Hamas.
“Hamas is not a terror organization,” Erdoǧan said at the time. “It is waging a battle for its land.”
In November, Erdoǧan slammed Israel’s ground incursion into Gaza, calling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “the butcher of Gaza.”
In May 2024, at Erdoǧan’s urging, Turkey announced that it was halting all trade with Israel. That same month, it announced it would join South Africa’s lawsuit against Israel at the International Court of Justice at The Hague.
The country also sent its intelligence chief, Ibrahim Kalin, to Doha, Qatar to meet with Ismail Haniyeh, then the political leader of Hamas.
In July, Erdoǧan appeared to threaten an invasion of Israel in support of Palestinians in Gaza during a party speech.
“We must be very strong so that Israel can’t do these things to Palestine,” Erdoğan said in his speech. “Just as we entered [Nagorno-] Karabakh, just as we entered Libya, we might do the same to them. There is nothing we cannot do. Only we must be strong.”
The Turkish leader has also called for an “alliance of Islamic countries” to stop “Israeli arrogance.”
Notably, some bible researchers have identified an alliance of Russia, Iran and Turkey as being the fulfillment of biblical prophecy, especially the War of Gog and Magog from Ezekiel 38.

UNIFIL Ignored Hezbollah Terror Build Up For 18 Years, Israel's UN Ambassador Says

Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon on Sunday accused the United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon (UNIFIL) of failing to enforce its mission to prevent the U.S.-designated terrorist movement Hezbollah from establishing military outposts on the border with Israel.
Israel’s incursion into southern Lebanon has revealed a military outpost about a mere 300 yards north of the border with the Jewish state that is filled with explosives and mines, according to Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
“Hezbollah terrorists are using UNIFIL outposts as hiding places and as places of ambushes. The U.N.’s insistence on keeping the UNIFIL soldiers in the line of fire is incomprehensible,” said Danon.
He added “For 18 years, UNIFIL personnel ignored the Hezbollah bases along the border and did not report any Resolution 1701 violations, which states that only the Lebanese army is allowed to operate in the area.”
Danon continued that “While the IDF is working against the terrorist organization Hezbollah, we requested that UNIFIL forces move five kilometers (approx 3.1 miles) north of the border in order to stay out of the line of fire. Unfortunately, at this time, this request has not been accepted.”
The U.S. and other world powers passed Resolution 1701 at the United Nations Security Council in 2006 to aid the Lebanese Armed Forces in assuming military control over the region, replacing Hezbollah, between the Litani River and the southern border in Lebanon. The goal of the 2006 UNIFIL mandate was to prevent a third war between Israel and the U.S.-designated terrorist organization Hezbollah. Israel fought Hezbollah in 1982 and in the summer of 2006.
Hezbollah’s decision to join Hamas’ war on Israel a day after the Sunni terrorist movement Hamas invaded Israel on Oct. 7 revealed to Israeli war planners and counter-terrorism experts UNIFIL had failed its mission.
Hamas slaughtered nearly 1,200 people in southern Israel on Oct. 7, including over 30 Americans. A lethal Hezbollah drone attack on Sunday murdered four IDF soldiers and wounded nearly 60 Israelis.
Hezbollah’s massive military buildup of its presence on Israel’s northern border since the 2006 war has caused an Israeli government re-examination of the clear and present danger of the Iranian-backed Shiite terrorist movement following Hamas’ invasion of Israel’s southern border on Oct. 7.
The IDF said in a statement that “Over the past month, approximately 25 rockets and missiles have been launched at Israeli communities and IDF troops from Hezbollah’s terrorist compounds embedded near UNIFIL posts in southern Lebanon, exploiting their proximity to U.N. forces. One of the attacks resulted in the deaths of two IDF soldiers. Hezbollah uses compounds located above and below ground to carry out terrorist attacks against the State of Israel.“
Over the weekend, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called on UNIFIL to withdraw its troops from southern Lebanon because they are being used as “human shields” to advance the Iranian regime-backed Hezbollah war machinery.

Israel Will ‘Hit Hezbollah Mercilessly In All Parts Of Lebanon,’ PM Says During Visit To IDF Training Base Struck By Deadly Drone

“We will continue to hit Hezbollah mercilessly in all parts of Lebanon – also in Beirut,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed during a visit to the Golani training base near Binyamina, where four IDF soldiers were killed in a drone strike on Sunday.
“We are fighting a tough campaign against Iran’s Axis of Evil that wants to totally destroy us,” Netanyahu said. “They won’t make it. We keep fighting. We pay painful prices, but we have tremendous achievements – and we will continue to achieve them.”
Netanyahu inspected the dining hall where the Hezbollah drone strike occurred and spoke with survivors of the attack, both at the base and in a nearby hospital. According to Israel Hayom, 42 soldiers remain hospitalized, including five in serious condition.
“The main thing is the spirit, the spirit that I see here; the great spirit of the soldiers and medics, fighters that understand that they are fighting for the eternity of Israel. With God’s help, together we will fight and together we will win,” the prime minister concluded.
The initial findings of the IDF investigation revealed that the aerial defense array believed the drone had crashed after losing contact with it during a combined attack involving drones, rockets, and precision missiles, Army Radio reported.
After two drones were shot down, the aerial defense reportedly lost contact with the third drone and believed it had crashed, either due to its low altitude or the GPS disruptions operated by the IDF.
Despite the radar picking up the drone again for about 90 seconds, it wasn’t re-classified as a hostile drone.
Israel’s Air Force commander has already ordered adjustments to existing procedures to prevent a repeat of the mistakes made on Sunday, which resulted in the deaths of four soldiers and injuries to nearly 60 others.
On Monday morning, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant visited the base and reviewed the initial findings from the investigation.
“This was a difficult event with painful results. We must investigate it, study the details, and implement lessons in a swift and professional manner. We are concentrating significant efforts in developing solutions to address the threat of drone attacks,” Gallant said.
IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Herzi Halevi commended the soldiers for their quick reaction after the strike.
“We are at war, and an attack on a training base in the rear is difficult and the results are painful. You acted well in treating and evacuating the wounded and injured. Embrace the bereaved families, accompany the wounded, and strengthen the commanders and soldiers.”
“We continue to fight and train for the next time. The Golani Brigade notched many achievements in the war and faced difficult situations with determination, follow the path of [the Golani Brigade’s] heritage,” Halevi said.

Analysis — ‘Victory In Spite Of All Terror’: Why Comparisons Between Netanyahu and Churchill Are So Appropriate

I recently watched a journalist employed by Sky News Australia share her impressions of an extended meeting she was granted with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The contrast between her comments and the largely ignorant, disconnected, and outright malicious lies of the American mainstream media could not be starker.
The Australian journalist compared the privilege of being able to sit with Mr. Netanyahu to what it would have been like for journalists during World War II to sit with Prime Minster Winston Churchill at the height of England’s conflict with Nazi Germany. How appropriate this comparison is at this important time cannot be understated.
Consider this timeless statement: “Victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory however long and hard the road may be; for without victory there is no survival.”
This was part of a speech that Churchill gave to the British House of Commons on May 13, 1940, concerning the threat that Nazi Germany posed for a free world. It could have easily been something that Mr. Netanyahu said in relation to the global threat that terrorism poses, specifically, the terrorism financed by the Islamic nation of Iran. The circumstances are the same.
I also found the comparison between Churchill and Netanyahu revealing for a number of other reasons.
First, it was an accurate assessment of the importance of Netanyahu’s unflinching resolve to bring his people and nation to victory over a lethal terrorist enemy. History has shown that the Nazis collaborated with the Islamists in their “final solution” strategy to murder as many Jewish people as time and money would permit.
The Islamists have not forsaken the dream of the total annihilation of the Jewish people, even though nearly 80 years have passed since the defeat of the Nazis.

Netanyahu to UN: Refusing To Evacuate UNIFIL Soldiers From Combat Zones Makes Them Hostages Of Hezbollah

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday called on the United Nations to immediately pull its peacekeeping force in southern Lebanon from areas where Israel is battling Hezbollah, saying that the terror group is using the international troops as “human shields.”
Netanyahu’s comments came as the UN peacekeeping force said two Israel Defense Forces tanks had entered a United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon position Sunday. The IDF said that the incident took place during an attempt to evacuate wounded IDF soldiers under fire.
In urging that members of UNIFIL be moved out of harm’s way, Netanyahu said that previous similar pleas by Israel had been refused, despite a rising number of injuries to UNIFIL troops.
The international force has already said that it will stay put.
Addressing UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Netanyahu said in a Hebrew-language message, “It is time for you to withdraw UNIFIL from Hezbollah strongholds and from the areas of combat.”
“The IDF has repeatedly asked for this, and has been met with repeated refusals, all aimed at providing a human shield to Hezbollah terrorists,” he added.
“Mr. Secretary General, get the UNIFIL forces out of harm’s way. It should be done right now, immediately,” Netanyahu said in English.
UNIFIL said the Israeli military “deliberately” hit several UNIFIL posts, including the headquarters at Naqoura. At least five UNIFIL soldiers have been lightly injured in a spate of recent incidents that have also included shootings that the UN did not attribute to either Israel or Hezbollah.
“Your refusal to evacuate the UNIFIL soldiers makes them hostages of Hezbollah,” Netanyahu said. “This endangers both them and the lives of our soldiers.”
Netanyahu said Israel “regrets the injury” to the peacekeepers, and that it is doing whatever it can to prevent such incidents.
“But the simple and obvious way to ensure this is just get them out of the danger zone,” Netanyahu said.
The prime minister said that European leaders should be criticizing Hezbollah, not Israel, for using UNIFIL as a “human shield.”
Lebanon’s Prime Minister Najib Mikati condemned Netanyahu’s call for the removal of UNIFIL soldiers, saying, “The warning that Netanyahu addressed to… Guterres demanding the removal of the UNIFIL represents a new chapter in the enemy’s approach of not complying with international [norms].”

Analysis — The Key To Understanding Bible Prophecy Lies In One Of Today’s Most Controversial Topics

On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched thousands of rockets into Israel. 1,200 Jewish men, women, and children were brutally murdered by the terrorist organization, funded by the nation Iran.
And just recently, Iran launched a barrage of missiles at the nation. Almost 200 ballistic missiles were launched toward Israel.
Bible students know what’s been happening can have prophetic significance.
The key to understanding Bible prophecy is Israel and the Jewish people. This is one of the most controversial topics.
When the Jews formed their nation on May 14, 1948, a modern day miracle occurred. More specifically, a prophecy was fulfilled and the prophetic time clock began to tick. It wasn’t just a sign, it was a super sign, because it was all predicted by the Jewish prophets, like Ezekiel 37.
Ezekiel 37 talks about a valley of dry bones—effectively a graveyard—and all of a sudden, these bones start coming together and flesh is put on them and they come alive. He says this is a symbol of the nation Israel, they will be dead, gone, and they’ll come to life again in their land in the last days. We saw that happen before our very eyes.
God gave the land to the Jewish people. He said, “See, I have set the land before you; go in and possess the land which the Lord swore to your fathers—to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—to give to them and their descendants after them” (Deuteronomy 1:8 NKJV).
People will say the Israelis are occupiers who have taken land that belonged to someone else, but the Jews are indigenous to this region. This is their land that God gave to them. They haven’t even occupied all the land that God gave them. They are not the occupiers or colonizers as some like to accuse them of being.
There are protests with people holding signs that say “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” when the person holding it doesn’t know what they’re talking about.
And you may also see signs that say things like “death to the Jews.” There is a surge of antisemitism sweeping the world. You would have thought that after this horrible attack, there would be an outpour of public sympathy for the innocent victims in Israel. Instead, Jew hatred has been expressed. And it comes from the devil.
Day 374 — Monday, October 14
Analysis — Soon To Be Face To Face With A Nuclear Iran, What Is Israel’s Next Move?
Again, all eyes are on Israel. Shortly after Iran’s barrage of nearly 200 ballistic missiles toward Israel on October 1, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “Iran made a big mistake tonight – and it will pay for it. The regime in Tehran does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and to exact a price from our enemies.”
The whole world is waiting for a response from Israel. Will it be a severe response or simply symbolic? Israel has several options at its disposal—and they could carry out one, a combination, or all of these possibilities.
Israel may hit Iran’s oil infrastructure. Iran’s oil infrastructure is the main source of revenue for the terror-funding nation. Israel’s purpose in knocking this out would be to cut down the flow of money into Iran and greatly curtail its ability to keep funding its proxies like Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis.
Israel may target Iranian leadership. Israel could possibly set conditions for regime change. We know they have been eliminating leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah. If Israel targets leaders in Iran, it could include:
- The Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
- The ruling Mullahs in the regime
- The new Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian
- Senior IRGC Commanders
All of these individuals could be in Israel’s sights to try to destabilize the leadership in Iran.
There was an interesting quote from the exiled Crown Prince of Iran, Reza Pahlavi. The Crown Prince is the eldest son of the last Shah of Iran, who was deposed during the Islamic Revolution. In an interview with CBN, Pahlavi said that he believes Iran is ripe for a revolution. Israel might seek to destabilize the leadership in Iran enough that it could give rise to a revolution that would depose the Mullahs’ regime.
Israel may hit Iran’s nuclear facilities. This is the most complicated and danger ous of the options. It’s also the one that is the most risky in terms of success. The New York Times has a headline this week that says, “Washington Worries the Israelis Will Bomb Iran’s Nuclear Sites. But Can They?”
President Biden is advising Israel not to hit these nuclear facilities or its oil infrastructure. Now, I don’t think Israel will likely take much heed to his advice, but there are a lot of logistical issues for Israel hitting these nuclear facilities. First of all, Iran is 1,000 miles away, which in and of itself is a logistical difficulty. Israel can refuel planes in the air; however, taking the kind of payload needed to hit these nuclear facilities would add a lot of complications to this kind of operation.
The Iranians have been smart enough not to concentrate in one area but to have eight nuclear facilities scattered all over the country. Let me give you an idea of how difficult this would be. One of these nuclear facilities is located in a place called Natanz, which is reported to be “a hardened Fuel Enrichment Plant (FEP) covering 100,000 square meters that is built 8 meters underground and protected by a concrete wall 2.5 meters thick, itself protected by another concrete wall.”
These are hardened facilities underground. Israel does have “Bunker Busters” that they can use, but it is worth noting that they would need to drop them one on top of another, further adding to the elaborateness necessary for that operation. We don’t know at this time whether or not targeting nuclear facilities is the road Israel plans to take at this time.

4 IDF Soldiers Killed, Over 60 Wounded In Hezbollah UAV Attack On Army Base In Northern Israel

The IDF announced on Monday morning the death of four IDF soldiers after a Hezbollah suicide drone struck “an army base adjacent to Binyamina.” Israeli media reported that at least 60 people were injured in the incident and have been evacuated by helicopter to nearby hospitals.
The IDF further stated the seven soldiers were “severely injured” in the attack, adding that “the incident is being examined.”
Magen David Adom emergency services arrived at the scene, searching the area for victims and coordinating with the army to evacuate the wounded. “We asked for the army to help by providing helicopters, and some of the wounded will be evacuated to hospitals in the center of the country,” MDA director-general Eli Bin described to reporters.
According to reports, two UAVs were launched by the Iranian-funded terrorist organization Hezbollah late Sunday evening. The IDF noted that the UAVs were fired “from Lebanon in the northern naval area,” with one of the drones being successfully intercepted by the IAF.
JNS reported, “Two drones approached Israeli territory from the sea. While one was shot down, the second was not intercepted due to its apparent low altitude. No air-raid sirens were activated prior to the attack.”

Hezbollah Drone Hits Nursing Home, Hundreds Of Rockets Rain On Northern Israel During Yom Kippur

In Israel, a Yom Kippur overshadowed by the active fighting in the north and south came to an end on Saturday at sundown.
For the first time, drones launched from Lebanon managed to penetrate Israeli air defenses and reach as far as Herzliya, while over 300 rockets rained on Israeli towns across northern Israel.
Late on Friday, two drones were launched by Hezbollah, reaching as far as Herzliya, just north of Tel Aviv on the Mediterranean coast. One drone was shot down, while the second drone struck a nursing home, causing some damage but no injuries.
Israel’s Channel 12 News reported that the explosion sparked a fire and caused parts of the city to lose temporarily electricity.
“Police officers and police bomb disposal experts from the district are currently on-site, managing the debris from the interception and conducting thorough searches to mitigate any further risks to the public.
At this time, no injuries have been reported, although there is some damage to a building,” Israel Police stated.
Over the Yom Kippur holiday, which began Friday evening at sundown and ended 25 hours later, rocket alarms were activated in dozens of towns across northern Israel, including Haifa, Acre, Nahariya, Safed and Kiryat Shmona.
Overall, the IDF said about 320 rockets were fired at Israel during the holiday, 150 of them on Saturday.
Magen David Adom rescue services announced that three people were lightly injured by the blast of a rocket that impacted near Acre on Saturday, while 12 others were injured after falling on the way to a shelter amid the rocket sirens.
As part of the Israeli ground operations in southern Lebanon over the past 24 hours, the IDF eliminated about 50 Hezbollah terrorists in gun battles and airstrikes.
The IAF destroyed around 200 terrorist sites across Lebanon, including dozens of rocket and missile launchers used to attack the Jewish nation during Yom Kippur, as well as underground infrastructure used to smuggle and store weapons on the Lebanese-Syrian border.
Israeli troops discovered additional underground tunnels, dozens of loaded rocket and anti-tank missile launchers, ammunition depots and Hezbollah equipment.
Two IDF soldiers sustained serious injuries, one in southern Lebanon, and another in Gaza.
During battles in Gaza, troops of the 162nd Division eliminated over 20 terrorists in Jabaliya, while the 252nd and the Gaza Division killed several more in clashes across the Strip.
Hamas terrorists also launched two rockets at the town of Ashkelon, which landed in open areas.
In addition, a drone launched from Syria crashed in an open area in the Golan Heights.

CBS Memo Sparks Outrage: Journalists Instructed Not To Acknowledge Jerusalem As Part Of Israel

CBS News is facing backlash after an internal memo instructed journalists not to refer to Jerusalem as part of Israel, igniting criticism from media figures and raising concerns about journalistic integrity. The memo, sent by CBS News senior director of standards Mark Memmott in late August, emphasized the “disputed status” of Jerusalem.
This directive, alongside internal tensions sparked by an interview conducted by CBS Mornings co-host Tony Dokoupil on anti-Israel perspectives, has fueled controversy both within CBS and across the media landscape.
Memmott’s email advised CBS News staff to avoid saying Jerusalem is in Israel, noting that “the status of Jerusalem goes to the heart of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.” While the US embassy is in Jerusalem, and the Trump administration formally recognized it as Israel’s capital in 2017, the memo emphasized that its status is disputed. Israel considers Jerusalem its “eternal and undivided” capital, while Palestinians claim East Jerusalem—captured by Israel during the 1967 war—as the capital of a “future Palestinian state.”
The directive sparked outrage across social media and among journalists. Adam Rubenstein, contributing editor at The Free Press, stated, “Standards desks are now instructing journalists to deny reality.” Washington Examiner senior writer David Harsanyi added, “Then we can stop referring to CBS employees as journalists.”
The US Congress recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital in 1995 with the passage of the Jerusalem Embassy Relocation Act. Former President Donald Trump further solidified the US stance by formally recognizing the city as Israel’s capital in 2017. CBS News has not yet responded to the controversy surrounding the memo.
This issue comes amid broader internal tensions at CBS News, highlighted by a controversial interview conducted by CBS Mornings co-host Tony Dokoupil, who has personal ties to Israel as a convert to Judaism.
Dokoupil interviewed journalist Ta-Nehisi Coates, whose book The Message presents an anti-Israel perspective. During the interview, Dokoupil questioned Coates, suggesting that the book “would not be out of place in the backpack of an extremist” due to its stance on Israel.
Coates responded by likening Israel’s treatment of Palestinians to the struggles of Black people in the US and Africa, describing Israeli policies as “apartheid” in the occupied territories.
After the interview, CBS News reportedly required Dokoupil to meet with the network’s Race and Culture Unit after complaints about his tone and body language during the interview. Despite this, a source familiar with the situation confirmed that Dokoupil would not be further reprimanded. CBS legal correspondent Jan Crawford defended Dokoupil during a staff conference call, and Paramount Global chair Shari Redstone reportedly referred to the reprimand as a “mistake.”
On Tuesday, Dokoupil addressed CBS staff in an emotional meeting, apologizing for putting his colleagues in a difficult position, especially journalists reporting from conflict zones. The backlash has revealed broader concerns within CBS News about how Jewish issues are treated.
One CBS employee commented, “There is a huge difference between how all ethnic or minority groups are treated and how Jews and Jewish issues are treated.”

Putin Reaffirms Russia’s Commitment to Iran Against Israel

Russian President Vladimir Putin told his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian, on Friday that Moscow continues to place a high priority on cooperation with Tehran and wishes to create a “new world order” in which the West and Israel no longer have a dominant position in global affairs.
Putin and Pezeshkian met on the sidelines of a forum in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan. Pezeshkian said he hoped he and Putin could sign a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement during their next meeting at the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia later in October. BRICS is an economic bloc cofounded by Russia, which Iran joined at the beginning of 2024.
“Moscow and Tehran actively cooperate with each other in the international arena and often agree on their assessments of world events,” Putin said at the Turkmenistan summit on Friday.
“This year, we are witnessing an increase in the volume of trade between the two countries and its good trend,” he said.
“From the economic and cultural point of view, our relations are getting stronger day by day,” Pezeshkian responded.
“The growing process of cooperation between Iran and Russia should be accelerated according to the will of the supreme leaders of the two countries and the need to strengthen these relations,” he said, seemingly forgetting that Russia technically does not have a “supreme leader.”
Pezeshkian complained about Israel’s highly successful campaign against Iran’s terrorist proxies in Gaza and Lebanon, Hamas and Hezbollah, and indicated he expects Russian sport against the “Zionist regime.”
“The Zionist regime does not respect any international legal and humanitarian framework, and the situation in the region is critical,” he said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry accused the U.S. and U.K. of “hypocrisy” for supporting Israel’s campaign against Hezbollah despite civilian casualties after years of lecturing Russia about the civilians it has killed in Ukraine. The Russians were also angry about Israeli airstrikes on Hezbollah in Syria.
“Once again, Israel has grossly violated the sovereignty of Syria by launching a missile attack on a multi-storey apartment building in a densely populated area of Damascus. It is outrageous that such actions have literally turned into a routine practice applied to Syria, Lebanon, and the Gaza Strip,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.
Even as Putin and Pezeshkian were pledging to forge stronger ties, a high-ranking European Union (EU) official said on Friday that the first sanctions against Iran for transferring ballistic missiles to Russia could be coming next week.

Macron 'A Disgrace To France,' Gallant Charges After Israeli Companies Banned From Warfare Show
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant on Friday entered a war of words with French President Emmanuel Macron, after Israeli companies were banned from displaying their wares at a top defense industry show.

4 IDF Soldiers Killed, Over 60 Wounded In Hezbollah Suicide Drone Attack On Army Base In Northern Israel
