Economist and White House advisor, Dr. Pippa Malgrem, during the World Government Summit 2022’s session, which the globalist group titled “Are We Ready for A New World Order?” asserted that the world is on the brink of a dramatic change from the “traditional system of money” to a new digital system enforced by world superpowers.
“What underpins a world order is always the financial system,” she told the audience. “What we are seeing in our world today is that we are on the brink of a dramatic change. Where we are about to, and I’ll say this boldly, we’re about to abandon the traditional system of money and accounting and introduce a new one.”
“And the new one, the new accounting, is what we call blockchain. It means digital. It means having an almost perfect record of every single transaction that happens in the economy, which will give us far greater clarity over what’s going on,” she said, acknowledging that “it also raises huge dangers in terms of the balance of power between states and citizens.”
“In my opinion, we are going to need a digital constitution of human rights if we are going to have digital money,” she stated.
“Also, this new money will be sovereign in nature,” Malgrem insisted. “When most people think digital, they think crypto and private, but what I see are superpowers introducing digital currency. The Chinese were the first, the US is on the brink of moving in the same direction, and the Europeans have committed to that as well.”
WGS2022 had forums covering the Global Metaverse, Global Crypto, Cybersecurity, Climate Change, Global Health, Global Energy, Gender Balance, as well as eight other categories.
Klaus Schwab, the Founder and Executive Chair of the World Economic Forum, also spoke for the eighth time at the annual event. His brief remarks surrounded the “responsibility” for world governments to unite as one.
“History is truly at a turning point,” Schwab declared. “In times of crisis, the role of governments is more important and more relevant than ever. What is also needed is a summit like this one to go beyond crisis management and to look into constructive ways we can build our common future.”
“Our futures are intrinsically connected to one another as profound challenges to mankind, such as climate change, are globally interconnected and require collaborative responses,” he concluded. “We have to uphold our responsibility which we have towards the next generation at which we can only fulfill through collaboration on a national and on a global level.”
Talk of a “new world order” and a global government seems to have become commonplace from world leaders, the World Economic Forum, and others. For example, US President Joe Biden, at a recent meeting, openly said, “there’s going to be a new world order out there, and we’ve got to lead it.”
Although the world is rife with much speculation as to whether or not a global government will be introduced and what events may subsequently follow, Christians have a sure answer to those critical questions.
The Bible explicitly speaks about events that will take place in the future. God provided this information to provoke the lost to belief in Him and cause those who follow Jesus to soberly watch and understand the times in which they live.
In Revelation chapter 13, Scripture describes the rise of a world government whose wicked leader will have control “over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” (Rev. 13:7)
Amid the calls for a completely digital system of currency, modern readers have keen insight into how wholly government-controlled money is possible.
Pertinent to our understanding of the speeches we heard from this year’s World Government Summit, this chapter in the Bible states that this lawless global leader will have complete control over the finances of citizens. No one will be able to “buy or sell” without the global government’s consent (Rev. 13:16-18).
