In a wildly authoritarian move, French President Emmanuel Macron has declared the nation’s unvaccinated public to be “not citizens” of France, and claims he is intentionally just trying to “piss them off.”
The bizarre and unlawful declaration comes as the French parliament debates new legislation that would eliminate unvaccinated people from public life entirely, even if they test negative for COVID-19.
The moves belie the oft-repeated claim that COVID-19 vaccines are purely a health measure, especially in the face of new data from surrounding countries that proves the vaccinated are now more likely to contract, and therefore spread, the virus.
Speaking to Le Parisien, Macron furiously ranted:
“I am not about pissing off the French people… But as for the non-vaccinated, I really want to piss them off. And we will continue to do this, to the end. This is the strategy.
He continued: “In a democracy, the worst enemies are lies and stupidity… We are putting pressure on the unvaccinated by limiting, as much as possible, their access to activities in social life.”
France claims to have vaccinated almost 90 percent of those eligible. Despite claims by health professionals that this should be enough to control the spread of COVID-19, the virus is still infecting and spreading, including amongst the vaccinated across Europe and the United States.
Regardless of the scientific facts, Macron blames “only a very small minority who are resisting. How do we reduce that minority? We reduce it – sorry for the expression – by pissing them off even more.”
He went on to say he had no plans to “jail [the unvaccinated], or forcibly vaccinate them.”
So, he offered, “we have to tell them: from 15 January, you will no longer be able to go to the restaurant. You will no longer be able to go for a coffee, you will no longer be able to go to the theatre. You will no longer be able to go to the cinema.”
Macron concluded: “When my freedoms threaten those of others, I become someone irresponsible. Someone irresponsible is not a citizen.”
Opposition leader Marine Le Pen shot back, asserting that a president “should not say such things”, insisting Macron is “not worthy of the office” and that he was “turning the unvaccinated into second-class citizens.”
The latest opinion polls for the 2022 French Presidential election gives Macron (23%) a lead over his key opponents Marine Le Pen (14.5%), Eric Zemmour (15%), Jean-Luc Mélenchon (13%), and Valérie Pécresse (15%).
French Presidential elections are conducted in two rounds, with the latest fieldwork showing Macron handily beating Le Pen or Zemmour in a run off, with only the centrist Pécresse able to poll closely in the second round.
Despite his own popularity numbers slumping into nearly negative 60 percent in 2018, Macron’s own political fortunes appear to have improved in recent months. A new Harris Interactive poll shows him with a +2 approval rating, the highest in years.

European journalist Peter (Sweden) Imanuelsen responded to the French President’s comments, writing: “French President Macron has attacked the unvaccinated as ‘non-citizens.’ This is extremely dangerous rhetoric that dehumanizes a group of people. I thought Europe had learned not to do this from the past?”
“This has been happening in Europe: 1. Police patrolling the streets checking people’s papers. 2. People put under lockdown based on their medical status. 3. People banned and segregated from public transport based on medical status,” he wrote, adding that he “never thought this could happen.”
Many have similarly noted the eerie resemblance between the modern COVID crisis response and the actions Nazis of the 1930s.
It was reported in late December that yellow signs reading “DO NOT BUY FROM UNVAXXED” were appearing throughout Germany, according to American Family News. The shocking displays sparked those protesting the over-reaching measures to begin wearing yellow stars with the word “unvaccinated” written on them, to further point out the comparison to Nazi Germany.
“I’ve said for almost a year that there are some haunting parallels between the 1930s and the 21st century here with this COVID crisis,” Jan Markell of Olive Tree Ministries recently told AFN. “A new group of people in the 21st century are becoming the new untouchables, the new yellow-starred people. And that’s those who just choose for various reasons, and there are lots of reasons, to be unvaccinated for COVID.”
Revelation 13, describes a global government that will form in the future led by a man referred to in the Bible as the “antichrist” or “lawless one.” This world system will have control over “all that dwell upon the earth” and will respond to non-compliance by first limiting anyone who does not receive the “mark of the beast” from being able to “buy and sell” and then ultimately sentencing them to death for their refusal to accept this “mark” (see: Revelation 13:16-18)
The demonization of the unvaccinated governments around the world, Markell explained, is further setting the stage for Biblical prophecy to unfold.
“Someday the unsaved left behind after the rapture are going to be depending on the Antichrist, and what I see is a conditioning right now for prepping people to trust the government with their major decisions,” Markell submits. “Right now that’s health and are they going to keep their jobs, but they have to comply in order to please the government.”
