‘Cost Of Telling The Truth’: Twitter Goes On Suspending-Spree Of Christians for Describing Trans HHS Official as a ‘Man’

Twitter has suspended The Christian Post (CP), a member of the Evangelical Press Association, from its social media platform for posting a link last week to its news story describing U.S. Assistant Secretary for Health and Human Services Rachel Levine as “a man” who identifies as a woman.

In its March 15 tweet, CP states: “USA Today names Rachel Levine, a man, among its ‘Women of the Year,’” and includes a link to its news article.

Twitter emailed CP on March 20 to alert the global news website, headquartered in Washington, D.C., that its tweet had been deemed “hateful conduct” in violation of the social media giant’s policy.

CP has appealed Twitter’s suspension, but their account remained blocked on March 24 from posting articles as well as liking, following or retweeting posts.

“Twitter told us that if we remove the tweet of the CP article, ‘USA Today names Rachel Levine among its ‘Women of the Year,’ then our account will be restored,” CP stated on Faithwire.com. “We do not plan on removing the tweet. We will continue to speak the truth even if it costs us our Twitter account.”

In addition to CP, Twitter has also blocked a satirical account with evangelical roots, The Babylon Bee, for posting a joke about honoring Levine as their “Man of the Year.”

In an email to subscribers, Seth Dillon, CEO of The Babylon Bee, stated: “They could, of course, delete the tweet themselves. But they won’t. It’s not enough for them to just wipe it out. They want us to bend the knee and admit that we engaged in hateful conduct.

“I can promise you that’s not happening. Truth is not hate speech. If the cost of telling the truth is the loss of our Twitter account, then so be it. We won’t compromise the truth just to keep our account.”

Twitter’s latest speech ban over public opposition to transgender ideology that rejects simple biological and physiological facts continues a pattern that has included temporary suspensions of state government officials, politicians, radio and podcast hosts, journalists and feminists alike.

For example, in November, Twitter temporarily blocked a Republican congressman from Indiana following his stated objection to Levine’s recognition by U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy as “the first female four-star officer to serve in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.”

Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., remarked on Twitter: “Calling someone that was born and lived as a man for 54 years the first ‘female’ four-star officer is an insult to every little girl who dreams of breaking glass ceilings one day.”

But Twitter ruled that Banks violated its hateful conduct policy when he tweeted further that: “the title of first female four-star officer gets taken by a man.” Twitter’s policy prohibits tweets that engage in “misgendering or deadnaming of transgender individuals.”

Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk and Fox News’ Tucker Carlson were similarly suspended by Twitter for refusing to capitulate to the progressive lie surrounding “transgender identity.” More specifically, both Carlson and Kirk were addressing Joe Biden’s HHS Official, who although a biological male, has been named ”Woman of The Year.”

The Bible states that in the time prior to the return of Christ, the world would hate and resist both Biblical morality and truth as a whole (2 Timothy 3:1-9). The apostle Paul explained that the contrast between true Believers in Jesus and the rest of society would become so stark and controversial that ”all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution,” while ”evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:12-13).

As social media platforms, politicians, Hollywood and others work to restrain the truth, it is the job of believers to uncomprimisingly proclaim the truth and the saving Gospel which lifts mankind out of the bondage of sin to a new life in Jesus Christ.

“The only way a person can truly be free and break the bondage of sin is to acknowledge their Creator, that they are not God, to recognize they need a Savior, and repent of their sins,” Author and Radio Host David Fiorazo wrote last July. ”Only then can a person experience true forgiveness, freedom, and lasting peace.”

‘No Israel’ Without Trump?: Mr. President, God Isn’t Looking For A Partner To Share His Glory

“Tell you what, if there wasn't me, there would be no Israel right now”… Those were the words of President Trump in an interview on Wednesday. Very respectfully, I want to say to the President of the United States: Mr. Trump, you're wrong. Trump has been the best friend that Israel has ever had in the White House—and I say that with no asterisk. But Israel doesn't exist because of any man.

Shifting Public Opinion: The Appeal Of Pride Month Appears To Be Fading

For years, June brought a predictable wave of corporate logos, advertising campaigns, themed merchandise, and public celebrations. Parents learned to pay closer attention to commercials in family programming, sports fans grew accustomed to Pride-themed uniforms and promotions, and many city streets became venues for often indecent displays at Pride parades. This year is noticeably different. The symbols are not gone, but they are far less prominent. It’s premature to say Pride has fallen, but it is fair to say the appeal of Pride Month has faded.

Jan Markell: Is Israel’s Spiritual Blindness A Reason For Christians To Reject Them?

Ezekiel 36 emphasizes that when the Jews return to the land, they will do so in unbelief. There will be spiritual regeneration much later! The dry bones of Ezekiel 37 reflect a lack of breath or spiritual life. God states he is gathering them back “not for your sake but for my holy name’s sake,” because their presence among the nations caused his name to be profaned. Ezekiel 36 promises that once back in the land, God will cleanse them, give them a new spirit, and cause them to walk in his statutes. But much later.
