Widespread protests across Iran are increasingly targeting the nation’s senior leadership, with Iranian demonstrators openly calling for the removal of top officials and an end to the Islamic Republic’s rule.
The unrest, which is fueled by economic hardship, political repression, and public anger over corruption, has prompted sharp warnings from authorities and intensified security crackdown.
Interestingly, the Jerusalem Post reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is “currently the most popular person in Iran.” One Tehran resident said that “people have fallen in love with him.”
“People do not trust America or [US President Donald]ย Trump, but they very much believe in and love Israelis,” the individual further stated.
Iranians were “impressed” by Israeli strikes on Iran in June as part of “Operation Rising Lion,” as the air force focused only on regime infrastructure and did not harm civilians.
Here’s my take.
Between water shortages, extreme inflation, and the humiliation of the 12-Day War, the Ayatollah’s regime is dying from the inside out. Is freedom in sight? Let’s pray freedom rings loudly for the Iranian people who are longing for change.
