Top Spanish Diplomat ‘Horrified’ at Anti-Semitic Holocaust-Themed Carnival Parade

Spain’s foreign minister on Wednesday condemned a carnival parade featuring gun-toting Nazis and lines of dancing Jewish victims, a day after Israel’s ambassador expressed outrage over the anti-semitic spectacle.

The display, which also featured a parade float designed like a gas chamber, was the second such incident this week after a Belgian town earned a stiff rebuke from the European Commission.

Their weekend carnival parade featured floats with anti-Semitic caricatures showing Jews with hooked noses, obsessed with money and dressed up like insects.

The Spanish parade was the climax of carnival festivities in Campo de Criptana, a small town near Madrid.

Images on Twitter showed dozens of people in full Nazi-style regalia and others wearing the striped pajamas worn by concentration camp prisoners.

Children were dressed in the yellow Star of David that Jews were forced to wear in Nazi-occupied areas.

On top of one float, a woman in Nazi uniform could be seen gyrating alongside a model Doberman under two giant chimneys. Elsewhere a line of Jewish victims in red hot-pants and bustiers with a gunshot wound to the heart danced with Israeli-style flags.

The footage and images quickly sparked a furious backlash.

There were widespread expressions of revulsion both online and off.

“Horrified at the carnival parade in Campo de Criptana,” Spain’s Foreign Minister Arancha Gonzalez Laya wrote on her official Twitter account.

“I totally reject any trivialization of the Holocaust,” she added.

“Following contact with the organizers, they have apologized to the Federation of Jewish Communities of Spain. It is essential to keep teaching about the memory of the Holocaust.”

Town hall disowns display

Her remarks came a day after Israeli Ambassador Rodica Radian-Gorden lashed out at the parade as an afront to the six million Jews murdered during the Nazi Holocaust.

“I am horrified by and utterly reject the shameful trivialization of the Holocaust that took place at the Campo de Criptana carnival,” Radian-Gorden tweeted on Tuesday.

“It is an affront to the memory of the victims of the Shoah and an intolerable expression of antisemitism.”

In a statement, Campo de Criptana town hall said the cultural association behind the event had said the planned production would “pay homage to the millions of people who were wrongfully killed” during the Holocaust.

“Once we saw the enactment, we had the same criticisms. If the initial objective was to commemorate the victims, it is evident this did not happen,” it said on Tuesday.

It stressed that it had shared no part in the production and insisted on its “absolute condemnation… of the genocide inflicted on the Jewish people by the Nazis and any mockery or trivialization of the issue.”

Carnival parades take place every year across Spain and Europe in the days leading up to Ash Wednesday which marks the start of Lent.

The Belgian carnival in Aalst is a centuries-old event long known for mocking public figures but it has recently come under fire for parading insulting and Anti-Semitic and derogatory depictions of Jews.

Last year it lost its place on a UNESCO heritage list because of anti-Semitism.

Harbingers Daily Addition:

Anti-Semitism is rearing it’s ugly head in Europe once again. The parades that seek to blatantly mock Jewish people are a telling example of that, as berlin’s display seemed to double down after receiving backlash the previous year.

A recent survey of 16,000 people found that 1-5 Europeans believe there is a secret Jewish cabal running the world!

This was also reflected in Berlins Parade floats that depicted Jewish people holding bags of money with rats on their shoulders last year. It was also shown this year where their anti-semitic floats and costumed were arrayed with labels that read “obey”, “Do not mock the Jews” and “Certainly do not tell the truth about the Jews.”

One Reporter for the Jerusalem Post believes that for him the Berlin Carnival may be the last straw. “With each new incident that reflects the mainstreaming of antisemitism in Western Europe, I’m increasingly considering the merits of moving my family to the Jewish state,” he said. “For all of the problems in Israel, at least events like the Aalst Carnival amount to little more than a bad joke somewhere far away.”

Just Last month German foreign minister, Heiko Maas, warned that if this rise in antisemitism in the country is not addressed, it could “lead to a massive departure of Jews from Germany.”

Ezekiel 11:16-17 KJV – “Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come. Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.”

As Biblical Christianity Weakens In The West, More People Turn To The Occult To Fill The Gap

As biblical Christianity weakens in America and the West, more people turn to occult practices to fill the gap. People naturally want to worship. If they reject the true God, they often look for spiritual answers somewhere else. This is why we see more interest in astrology, tarot cards, witchcraft, spirit guides, meditation, New Age ideas, manifestation, and the paranormal. Surprisingly, studies show that many people who say they are Christians now take part in practices the Bible clearly forbids.

New Louisiana Laws Send A Clear Message: Churches And Synagogues Are Not Fair Game For Disruptive Political Theater

Months after protesters stormed a Minnesota church, turning a sacred space into a scene of chaos, Louisiana is taking decisive action to shield its own congregations from similar threats. Gov. Jeff Landry (R) has signed two bills designed to safeguard the sanctity of worship and ensure that prayer and reflection are not interrupted by intimidation or disorder. “In Louisiana,” said Landry, “we are committed to maintaining the right to worship without interference, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to safeguarding religious liberty. With the signing of these two bills, those protections just became stronger.”

Prophetic Pieces: As Putin Ups The Ante In The Arms Race, Russia Considers Providing Refuge To Top Iranian Leaders

Prophetic events in the end times right now are casting their shadows over the Middle East like never before. Preparations for the Gog Magog coalition prophesied in Ezekiel 38 and 39 are increasing and intensifying. Written 2,500 years ago by Ezekiel, these chapters prophesy an end-time invasion of Israel led by the nations of Russia, Iran, and Turkey. Two significant developments showcase that the prophetic pieces are falling perfectly into place.
