I continue to be greatly saddened by the news of the shooting in Uvalde, Texas. I cannot imagine the horror that took place that afternoon in Robb Elementary School nor the grief of the families who lost children and loved ones.
I pray frequently for the families impacted by this senseless killing. Despite what our adversaries claim, praying makes a difference. Our God is able to provide comfort even in the midst of great grief.
The murder of the innocents in Uvalde awakens us anew to the prevalence of evil in our world. In doing so, it stirs our realization. . .
THAT ABORTION IS A GREAT EVIL
The senseless murder of children at Robb Elementary underscores the extreme wickedness of abortion. Even though I have written often about its evil nature, it’s easy for me to become desensitized to it. The loss of nineteen innocents earlier this week awakened me anew to the daily slaughter of three thousand children in America’s abortion clinics.
This does not at all minimize the scope of the tragedy in Texas, not at all, but it does magnify the demonic nature of what happens in our abortion clinics where doctors murder thousands of children every day. Does this not at least in part explain the harshness of the Tribulation period judgments that will sweep over the world after the Rapture?
THAT OUR ENEMY IS DEADLIER THAN ANYTHING WE CAN IMAGINE
The New Testament makes it clear that our enemy is Satan along with the multitude of demonic beings that do his bidding. The apostle Paul makes this clear in Ephesians 6:12 :
Ephesians 6:12 KJV – “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
In 1 Peter 5:8, we read this:
1 Peter 5:8 KJV – “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”
As we as a nation continue to move further away from God and adopt the atheistic beliefs of evolution, it gives the devil an opportunity to work his evil ends through people such as the shooter in Texas.
Today we see the murderous and deceitful nature of our enemy more than at any time I can remember. One website put the total number of abortions worldwide at 1.6 billion since 1980. At a minimum, the COVID-19 injections have killed hundreds of thousands of people in our world and seriously injured many more.
Please let this Texas tragedy remind you of how Jesus described our enemy, the one we see becoming more active in our world by the day.
John 8:44 KJV – “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”
We err greatly if we underestimate the deadly and deceptive nature of our enemy who operates through the globalists of our day and the deep state in America.
As questions arise regarding the shooting in Uvalde, it seems as though the elite let this happen; they knew of the danger and did nothing to stop it. And, where did the shooter get all the money to purchase the expensive weapons and body armor? With his arrest record and past threats, why did the FBI approve his purchase of the guns? As I write, there are many unanswered questions.
And yes, the deep state is evil enough to allow the killing of children, or even plan it, in order to advance their own agenda. The one that controls them is the thief Jesus referred to in John 10:10, the one who comes “to steal and kill and destroy.”
If you only remember one thing from this article, always keep in mind that the globalists who control most nations in our world are evil beyond what we can imagine and are capable of absolutely anything to further their agenda of world domination. Anything. So very few recognize the depth of evil operating throughout our institutions and governments.
OF THE HUGE HYPOCRISY OF THE LEFT IN AMERICA
The response to the tragedy in Uvalde further exposes the hypocrisy of the left in America. The President angrily shouted for more gun control, the Democrat candidate for governor in Texas rudely interrupted a press conference where the Governor Greg Abbott was responding to questions regarding the tragedy, and Democrats in congress immediately sought to pass a law restricting the sale of guns.
They seek to use the killing for political gain, nothing more. The killer, however, was in the school for forty minutes before a border agent killed him. He could have used almost any weapon to kill a great many children during that timeframe.
By way of contrast, consider the actions of the left in response the leaked draft from the U.S. Supreme Court indicating that they might overturn Roe v. Wade and give back to the states the right to decide on restricting abortion:
- Multiple angry outbursts from the President and leading Democrats in Congress
- Protests at the homes of the justices, which are illegal according to federal law
- At least one Supreme Court Justice cancelled public appearances and moved his family to an undisclosed, safe location due to the threats against him
- Forty-nine Senators voted in favor of a law that would legalize abortion throughout the United Stated up to moment of birth. Its extreme nature caused even pro-abortion Republican senators to vote against it.
- A significant faction of the left threatens to burn down the Supreme Court building and kill the justices who vote in favor of overturning Roe v Wade
Are really to believe that these same people really care about the children in Texas after witnessing their over-the -top reaction to just a leaked draft from the Supreme court?
Those on the left cheer when radical abortion legislation becomes law. In California, the legislature voted in favor of a bill that allows the killing of a child for twenty-eight days after birth.
The outrage from the radical left after the shooting in Texas seems highly hypocritical at best. Everything they do tells us that they do not value the life of young children.
If the elite in the U.S. truly cared about the young, they wouldn’t favor the mutilation of grade school age boys and girls through transgenderism and they would shout their opposition to those who allow the killing of babies after birth. But we hear no such cries from them. They support all these things.
OF JUST HOW FAR AMERICA HAS FALLEN
Oh, how far America has fallen during since WWII. We continually elect people who openly support the barbaric murder of innocents. Tens of millions voted for Joe Biden after he openly proclaimed that seven-year-old children should have the right to choose their gender. His choice for Vice President, Kamala Harris, on numerous occasions refused to support a bill in the Senate that would have made infanticide illegal in America.
The current leaders in the U.S. government openly support all aspects of the LBGTQ movement and President Biden’s nomination to the Supreme Court repeatedly demonstrated her displeasure regarding the harshness of punishments for those who rape children. The fact that the Senate approved this radical provides ample evidence of just how far into evil and lawlessness we have fallen as a people in America.
Why do we keep electing those who have no sense of morality nor a smidgen of compassion for our little ones despite their feigned outrage at the Texas shooting? It’s time we wake up to the great evil that overtaking the world.
THAT OUR REDEMPTION IS EVER SO CLOSE TO COMPLETION
These things also tell us that our departure from this world is ever so close.
I have written at length about the many signs that point to the Lord’s soon return. As the Tribulation period looms closer and closer on the horizon, so does our home-going that must happen before it.
As extreme evil, deception, and violence grow exponentially in our world, we know that the “man of lawlessness” is waiting in the wings to seize control of the world government that globalists are seeking to initiate. As I write, they are meeting in Davos, Switzerland, with that exact purpose in mind.
Take heart; we are about the experience the joyous hope that the Lord promised us through the apostle Paul in passages such as 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthian 15:50-58.
In spite of the evil here below, we know that our ultimate hope lies beyond what we see, beyond this life. Philippians 3:20-21 reminds us:
Philippians 3:20-21 KJV – “For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.”
Time is quickly running out for our world. People need the Savior. For us, it means that our deliverance is ever so close. Our departure is at hand.
