(Regina, Canada) โ Last week, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, in a press conference, was asked whether he would allow the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Canadian soil as a result of warrants issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Trudeau shamefully responded by saying this:
First of all, as Canada has always said, it’s really important that everyone abide by international law. This is something we’ve been calling on from the beginning of the conflict. We are one of the founding members of the International Criminal Court [and] International Court of Justice. We stand up for international law, and we will abide by all the regulations and rulings of the international courts. This is just who we are as Canadians.
Our globalist Canadian Prime Minister has chosen to stand with an ICC decision driven by antisemitism rather than stand up for Israel, the only democratic country in the Middle East that protects the same freedoms and values that Canada enjoys here in the West.
I’m reminded of God’s words in Isaiah 5:20, where the Lord says, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”
Israel did not start this war; Hamas did. The majority of the Palestinians, by the way, still support that brutal and demonic attack on October 7th of last year. And yet, Trudeau has planted our flag with the ICC, whose decision defends terrorists instead of a democratic country’s right to defend itself.
No, Trudeau, this is not who we are as Canadians.
In contrast, the United States, which is not a member of the ICC, and conservatives in Canada spoke out against the international court’s decision.
The very next day, while our Prime Minister was dancing at a Taylor Swift concert, Montreal was literally burning as pro-Palestinian rioters led anti-NATO protests against the city Convention Center, where 300 delegates from NATO countries were meeting. Things became ugly quickly as the pro-Palestinian rioters vandalized businesses, set off smoke bombs, set cars on fire, shouted against Israel, and even set ablaze an effigy of Prime Minister Netanyahu.
Trudeau eventually condemned the riots, but for Canadian conservatives such as the opposition leader, Pierre Poilievre, it was too little, too late. Poilievre took to social media to publically rebuke Trudeau’s long line of bad actions, which he said were directly linked to the riots:
You act surprised. We are reaping what you sowed.
This is what happens when a Prime Minister spends 9 years pushing toxic woke identity politics, dividing and subdividing people by race, gender, vaccine status, religion, region, age, wealth, etc.
On top of driving people apart, you systematically break what used to bring us together, saying Canada is a “post-national state” with “no core identity.”
You erased our veterans and military, the Famous Five and even Terry Fox from our passport to replace them with meaningless squirrels, snowflakes and a drawing of yourself swimming as a boy.
You opened the borders to terrorists and lawbreakers and called anyone who questioned it racist.
You send out your MPs to say one thing in a mosque and the opposite in a synagogue, one thing in a mandir and the opposite in a gurdwara.
You have made Canada a playground for foreign interference. You allowed Iran’s IRGC terrorists to legally operate here for four years after they murdered 55 of our citizens in a major unprovoked attack.
You passed laws that release rampant offenders from prison within hours of their 80th arrest.
And what is the result? Assassinations on Canadian soil, firebombings of synagogues, extremist violence against mandirs and gurdwaras, over 100 churches burned or vandalized (with barely any condemnation from you), all for a total 251% more hate crime.
And, while you were dancing, Montreal was burning.
We won’t let you divide us anymore. Call an election now.
We will fire you and reclaim our citizenship, our values, our lives, our freedom and, most of all, our country.
I think many Canadians, including myself, would agree.
Then, only a few days later, in a Toronto Jewish neighborhood, a group of Hamas supporters held a public event eulogizing Yahya Sinwarโthe demonic death cult leader who was the architect and mastermind of the October 7th massacre. It is sick and disgusting that this show of sympathy for a Hamas mass murderer and anti-Israel chants would be allowed on our streets, let alone in a Jewish neighborhood.
These pro-Palestinian marches are getting out of hand here in Canada. We need our leaders to take a stand on the correct side and condemn the demonstrations for what they are: vile, disgusting displays of hate against Israel, the Jewish people, and the West.
Never will you see a Canadian flag being flown in their protestsโinstead, they are burned. Why, then, are we allowing this kind of people into our country, and why are we allowing these hate-filled Palestinian protests to continue?
As Pierre Poilievre said, it’s time for a change in leadership in Ottawa. I pray that that will occur next year. Our country is heading in the wrong direction, and we must turn it around as soon as possibleโbefore it’s too late.
What does God have to say about the unrest in Canada and across the globe where evil is called good and good is called evil?
The Apostle Paul told Timothy what the last days would be like. In 2 Timothy 3:3-5 Paul says, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”
That’s why Paul also said in Ephesians 5:11, “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.” Canadians must get involved and stand up for what is right. Stand with Israel and the Jewish people. Condemn these Palestinian protests for what they are. Call your city councilors. Write letters to your Mayors and MLAs. Pray and educate yourselves. Don’t remain silent because, contrary to what Trudeau says and what we’re currently seeing in our country, this is not who we are as Canadians.
Wake up, Canada. We are better than this.
