Iranian proxy militia groups in Iraq and Syria continue to attack bases housing US troops in the region. Iranian officials are claiming that their fighters are equipped with advanced weaponry and that the offensive is productive. However, they conveniently fail to mention the damage done in retaliatory strikes from the US. Furthermore, the US has put Iran on notice should it carry out any additional attacks.
Speaking of Syria, multiple shipments arrived via Iranian cargo planes last week. This means it’s only a matter of time until another Israeli airstrike will take place. And not only are shipments of weapons arriving to Syria, but the Islamic Republic is sending families of proxy militiamen into Syria as well. The families are then taken to regions where the militiamen are deployed.
Iranian proxy fighters are undoubtedly anticipating another airstrike inside of Syria, as they’ve resorted to driving civilian vehicles and hiding out in civilian residences in the eastern region of the country.
As the Yemeni Civil War rages on, Saudi coalition strikes time and time again prove to be monumental in changing the direction of the War. In a 24-hour period last week, approximately 40 strikes were carried out, destroying more than two dozen military vehicles and killing well over 200 Houthi Rebels.
Recurring protests in Lebanon – largely due to a crumbling economy – resulted in a nationwide blackout last week. Sources even revealed that Lebanon is struggling to produce bread for its people. The Iranians are dealing with protests of the same nature.
Speaking of Iran, the US and Israel continue to prepare militarily for any potential conflict – most recently in the Red Sea. Furthermore, it was revealed this week by former Iranian officials that the Republic is responsible for the deaths of approximately 500,000 people in Syria over the years.
Iran is even active in Israel. Within the last couple of days, the Israeli Secret Service discovered that a man who was part of an espionage network had disguised himself as an Iranian Jew on social media, recruiting middle-aged women to spy on Israel. The women were arrested and charged.
Earlier this week, Cyprus experienced a 6.4 magnitude earthquake, which was even felt throughout places in Israel!
Another warning was issued yesterday by the US Embassy in Ukraine concerning Russian activity on Ukraine’s border. The Embassy warned travelers to reconsider any trips to the region, and explained that it could not guarantee safety for anyone should an imminent Russian attack take place.
The Abraham Accords continue to play a major role in the region, as there are even reports now that discussions have taken place between officials from Israel and Libya concerning Israeli-Libyan relations. A recent meeting reportedly took place in Jordan.
