Jack Hibbs: To Those Who Seek

Luke 11:9 KJV – “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.”

Jesus promises, “Seek, and you will find,” but in this current culture of hurry up and rush, we are often distracted by things that rob us of the seeking He desires. So much of that which has value is lost to the moment’s urgency. Note here in this verse there is a hint, perhaps even a great shout in our direction, announcing that God has so much more for us – an infinite amount of more

A Storehouse Of Good Things

Such generosity makes me wonder why are we resigned to having so little of what God wants to give? Why do we take such small strides in our walk with Him while subsisting on a meager diet of crumbs? Is it not because we fail to seek Him as we ought? Shouldn’t we take His invitation seriously when it’s He who has promised a storehouse of good things to those who ask? And why not knock, when it is the Lord, holding in His [loving] hand, all that my soul needs to be satisfied?

God stands behind His door, ready to open it to you – indeed, to all who will knock.

To Those Who Seek

What will we find when we ask and knock? We discover an unlimited amount of what is needed for our journey; all things are made available to God’s children who seek. In every season or station in life, we must banish anything that lures us into a mediocre, lackluster, and complacent life and direct our efforts to the reckless hot pursuit of Christ by asking, and seeking, and knocking.

Pushed To Suicide: The Callous Regard For Human Life In The Canadian Health System

1.1% of the population of Canada over the six years of 2016–2022 were euthanized, and the numbers are growing rapidly each year. The agency’s recent report showed a decrease in life expectancy for the third consecutive year.

End Of Debate… Christians Must Support Israel

As the fighting continues on and the body count rises, much of the world has maddingly turned their support to the terrorists and tragically against the victims! To my surprise, even Christians seem to be struggling with why they should be supporting Israel.
