Jack Hibbs: Through Christ, God Has Declared Us Holy

Because of the degradation of our society and moral values, the word holiness sounds archaic, even puritanical, to our ears. The world is naturally directed toward destruction, and those following its path are racing headlong toward spiritual death. Uninformed, unaware, and deceived, they hurry through life on a road going nowhere, to an end they don’t believe exists. That is the condition Jesus delivered us from, and now, through Christ, God has declared us holy.

The New Testament word for “holy” is hagios, which means “set apart.” A set-apart believer no longer blends in with the crowd they once ran with. A powerful new reality has taken hold that is evident to all.

You might protest, “Holy? Me? I still feel sin’s tug in my life!” I do, too. But make no mistake, all those who enter heaven will be perfectly holy and sinless. In heaven, the sinful nature that plagues us today is forever banished. Think of it. Not only will the desire to sin not enter our hearts and minds, but the blood of the Lamb will have erased even the possibility of it.

Though our arrival in heaven is yet future, we must do what God has called us to today—live holy lives by living according to His Word. Will you agree that our conduct, more than our words, is the best testimony of our new life in Christ? If so, let’s walk with Him, separated and holy, glorifying Him now and forever.

Why Are Australian Healthcare Workers Refusing To Oppose Antisemitism?

On 17 June 2026, Ahpra released a statement adopting the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of antisemitism. Although it should not be a point of contention for a healthcare regulator to adopt a firm position on antisemitism, the move has sparked furious backlash from doctors, health workers and civil liberties groups who claim that adopting the antisemitism definition limits their ability to criticise Israel. Anti-Zionists often nuance their opposition to Israel by claiming it has nothing to do with antisemitism. But it does. It is simply the modern adaptation of it.

When A Literal Interpretation Of The Bible Is Abandoned, The End Result Is Replacement Theology

Unfortunately, much of Scripture, especially the Old Testament, is interpreted by replacement theologians who use what is known as the allegorical method. It assumes there is a deeper, more spiritual or mystical, understanding of Scripture beyond the mere literal understanding and that this hidden understanding is found only by those who are able to search out its secrets. This mindset is especially prevalent when it comes to prophecy. With the allegorical method, prophecy is not to be taken literally but, rather, figuratively and symbolically.

Will America Last Another 250 Years?

Looking back, there can be no denying that God has indeed shed His grace—His unmerited favor—on our land, from sea to shining sea. But does our national “soul” encourage self-control? Do our laws champion ordered liberty? Is our success tempered with nobleness? Is brotherhood the defining characteristic of any good we aspire to reflect? By all of those measures, America seems decidedly adrift. We are drifting farther and farther from Nature’s God—the Ruler of the Universe our Founders called upon and credited with for our celebrated independence.
