It’s Time For Canadians To Ask What Side Of Genesis 12:3 They Want To Be On

(Toronto, Canada) — Yet another poll concerning the Palestinians revealed that 71% of them support the October 7th attack on Israel.

The poll, whose results closely mirror those of a previous survey taken in November 2023, was conducted by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PCPSR) on March 5th through 10th.

Here are a few of the highlights that the poll indicated:

  • 71% of Palestinians say Hamas’s decision to launch the October 7th offensive was correct.
  • 64% blame Israel for the suffering of Gazans in the current war, while only 7% blame Hamas
  • 94% think that Israel has committed war crimes during the current war, while only 5% think Hamas also committed war crimes
  • 64% believe that Hamas will win the war
  • 59% say Hamas will be in control of Gaza
  • 49% believe Hamas is the most deserving to lead the Palestinian people
  • 46% believe that armed struggle is the best means of achieving Palestinian goals
  • 59% oppose a return to Palestinian-Israeli peace negotiations

In spite of that, the world continues to push Israel to make peace with people who wish them dead.

On March 23rd, Toronto Police Services, on their Facebook page, shared that their academy hosted an event welcoming newly arrived refugees and newcomers from Gaza to Canada.

I wondered to myself, do these Gazans coming into our country have a hate for Israel and the Jewish people? Are they willing to assimilate and be Canadians first and foremost? Will they embrace Canadian culture? Did anybody make sure of that? What we certainly don’t need here in Canada is more haters towards Israel and the Jewish people. It’s bad enough as it is.

Earlier this month, the University of Regina held an event hosted by the Faculty of Arts entitled “4 Things You Need To Know To Understand The War On Gaza.” Notice it doesn’t say “Gaza’s war on Israel” or “Hamas’s war on Israel.” No, apparently, it’s “Israel’s war on Gaza.”

It was nothing more than a bashing Israel night. I know that because I attended. They had a link on Zoom, and I listened live to that lecture. There were four people who presented, and not once did they say that the October 7th massacre was wrong.

Friends, it wasn’t just wrong—it was pure demonic evil. None of the panelists made any mention of it. Instead, they justified the October 7th massacre by accusing Israel of being occupiers of stolen Palestinian land. In essence, their stance on the massacre was to say, “What do you expect them to do?” That’s disgusting, to say the least.

To make matters worse, our federal NDP party—who is supporting Justin Trudeau’s country-wrecking Liberal Party—introduced a motion last week to acknowledge Palestinian statehood, embrace an arms embargo against Israel, and demand a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

Instead of scrapping the bill, as the Liberals should have, they worked hard to negotiate amendments to the motion, and eventually, it passed. In the end, the amended motion included modified language to cease the further authorization and transfer of arms exports to Israel. It also called on the government to work towards the establishment of the State of Palestine as part of a negotiated two-state solution.

I wonder if they care at all about the recent two polls conducted, which clearly show that the majority of Palestinians are not interested in peace.

If you go to Palestinian Media Watch, you can see everything that the Palestinians are saying in print, on air, on TV, and in mosques, and how they educate their children to hate Israel. Every Palestinian map does not show two states. It shows one. They are true to their mantra, “The River To The Sea Palestine Will Be Free.” Where does Israel fit into that? Simply, it doesn’t.

Our government and universities, which disregard these polls, are the ones to speak out that it’s “all Israel’s fault.”

Friends, antisemitism is growing by leaps and bounds. It’s up over 250% here in Canada and around the world, and our leaders are allowing this to continue and endorsing hate against the Jewish people.

Canada is becoming a scary place for our Jewish friends, and that’s exactly what Canada’s former ambassador to Israel, Vivian Bercovici, said last November in an open letter to Deborah Lyons, who serves as Special Envoy on Preserving Holocaust Remembrance and Combatting Antisemitism. Speaking of Toronto in particular, Bercovici noted that the rising antisemitism is beginning to resemble “Germany in 1938.”

We have a real hatred in our country and around the world for Israel and the Jewish people, and I’m going to simply ask you: On what side do you want to be found?

God is crystal clear in Genesis 12:3 that He will “bless those that bless” the Jewish people and “curse those that curse” them.

It doesn’t mean that we have to agree with everything Israel does, thinks, and says. However, it better mean that you align yourself with God’s prophetic Word. Geopolitically, historically, and legally, Israel has a right to the land. Biblically, it’s ironclad. God gave it to the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He scattered them for their disobedience, but He’s gathering them back, and one day, He’ll pour His spirit within them (Ezekiel 36).

Why should Christians support Israel? Romans 11:11-12 states: “I say then, Have they [Israel] stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?” Also, see Romans 15:27.

Very simply, I hope you will be found on the side of blessing because if a country and its people are found on the side of God’s cursing, “woe unto them.”

We need to know what’s going on and understand it. A lot of these left-wing media outlets are not presenting the truth. They’re one-sided, and their cause is to the Palestinians and not to the Jewish people and Israel. It’s not Israel’s fault what’s going on in Gaza—it’s the sole responsibility of Hamas.

We need to educate ourselves and stand in love and support for Israel and the Jewish people in this world that is against them. As the God of this universe says in Isaiah 40:1, “Comfort, yes, Comfort my people!” That is not an option but a command.

Let’s continue to pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, let’s pray for Israel’s leaders to be wise of the schemes of their enemies, and for Canadians to rally behind our Jewish friends. Let’s support them and let’s stand up for what is decent, true, and right.

America Must Return To The Same Source Of The Founders’ Courage And Confidence: The Word Of God

Through their preaching, these patriot pastors helped bring about what Adams described as a “change in the religious sentiments” of the people. When war came, that same Biblical conviction fueled the courage to stand against tyranny. From their pulpits, these pastors not only made the case for independence; they also strengthened the people’s resolve to secure it. If we are to preserve our liberty 250 years later, we need that same kind of real Revolution again. We must return to the same source of the founders’ courage and confidence: the Word of God.

Sanctity Of Life On The Ballot: A State-By-State View Of The Abortion Battleground

Since 2022, when the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, one of the primary battlegrounds over abortion policy has been in the states. Both abortion-rights advocates and pro-life organizations have turned to statewide ballot initiatives to advance their policy positions on abortion.

Jan Markell: Is Israel’s Spiritual Blindness A Reason For Christians To Reject Them?

Ezekiel 36 emphasizes that when the Jews return to the land, they will do so in unbelief. There will be spiritual regeneration much later! The dry bones of Ezekiel 37 reflect a lack of breath or spiritual life. God states he is gathering them back “not for your sake but for my holy name’s sake,” because their presence among the nations caused his name to be profaned. Ezekiel 36 promises that once back in the land, God will cleanse them, give them a new spirit, and cause them to walk in his statutes. But much later.
