Rooting Out Corruption: How USAID Worked To Destabilize Israel And Fund Terrorism Against Jews

Daniel Cohen

The United States government has been suffering from the “aid virus,” a scandalous taxpayer-dollar giveaway loaded with waste and abuse.

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson recently stated, “I am comforted to know that Marco Rubio is Secretary of State, and folks are actually sitting down line by line and going through, eliminating the abuses of taxpayer dollars.”

I’m sure by now you’ve heard of the $70,000 for the production of a DEI musical in Ireland, the $47,000 for a transgender opera in Colombia, and the $2 million for sex changes in Guatemala.

What you may not be aware of is that while you may have been struggling to afford a house, pay rent, and buy gas and groceries, your tax dollars were being used to fund terrorism in Israel. Let that sink in. USAID gifted $310 million for a cement factory project in Gaza. What do you think SANAD, the private company that was supposed to create cement mills, did with the money? You guessed it: They built terror tunnels, the infrastructure used to launch the October 7 massacre, and the dungeons where Hamas has kept many of the Israeli hostages.

Do you remember the violent protests across Israel before October 7? USAID was paying for it through a complex web of NGOs and civil society organizations. Your taxpayer dollars were being used to destabilize Israel’s democratically elected government.

Think about this: while Hamas was preparing to launch its terror massacre, Israel was being torn apart by protests partially funded by your money. When Hamas struck, Israel was distracted by internal conflicts that USAID helped inflame.

That’s not all this “aid virus” has been doing. In Judea and Samaria, USAID money has been supporting the Palestinian Authority’s “pay-for-slay.” It’s a program that exists today in which terrorists are rewarded financially for carrying out attacks against Jews. A terrorist could receive up to $3,400 a month, plus benefits for their family, with the help of your tax dollars. What you and I call terrorism, turns out to be a viable career path under Mahmoud Abbas. In 2016, “pay-for-slay” consumed over 7% of the Palestinian Authority’s budget. $315 million went directly to terrorists and their families.

Now, do you see why President Trump and his administration are taking decisive action? Turning off the spigot may actually turn off some of the terrorism. USAID has had some positive programs, but funding terror tunnels and violence against Jews? How does that advance America’s interests?

America cannot fund both peace and terror. It’s impossible to stand with Israel while financing Israel’s enemies.

Joe Biden told America’s enemies, “Don’t.” Well, they didโ€”and they certainly didn’t mind taking millions from you. Senator John Kennedy, speaking before Congress last month, highlighted, “USAID spent $164 million to support radical organizations around the world. We are not talking Cub Scout troops here. We are talking about radical organizations around the world. They gave $122 million of that to groups aligned with foreign terrorist organizationsโ€”our taxpayer money.”

In Genesis 12:3, God commands a blessing for those who bless Israel: “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee…” Biden’s America tried to do both, but failed. James 3:11 asks, “Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring?” The answer is no.

Every American should fully endorse the long-overdue eradication of the “aid virus.”

The Clash Of Worldviews: Secular Progressivism Vs Biblical Christianity

To understand the age in which we live, it is important to understand the ideas behind secular progressivism and, more importantly, what its aspirations are. After all, whether the majority of people realise it or not, secular progressivism has the stated goal of organising social life (with or without your consent) toward explicitly chosen goals. Those goals, however, put it in direct conflict with Biblical truth. The major flaw in secular progressivism is its belief that preference trumps truth. Because the maxim of this ideology is that โ€œall preferences are created equal,โ€ any belief which competes with somebodyโ€™s โ€œpreferenceโ€ is treated in one of two ways. Either it must be suppressed (usually with the backing of government or media institutions), or it must be branded as a private hobby which is acceptable in the home or inner thought life but not welcome in the public square where others may be influenced by it.

How Allegory Reduces The Bible To Nothing More Than A Work Of Fiction

It is God alone who predicts the future. Prophecy is one of Godโ€™s signatures that tells us that we can trust in Him and His Word. It is what separates the Bible from all other religious writings in the world. But if we consistently use allegorical hermeneutics, as Charles Ryrie points out, then in effect what we have just done is reduce the Bible to nothing more than a work of fiction. How tragic! With hermeneutics like that, it is no wonder so many people want nothing to do with Bible prophecy. It is no wonder pastors refuse to preach and teach events concerning the future, and it is no wonder it can be so hard to understand.

Jan Markell: You Canโ€™t Have A Genuine Revival With False Doctrine Raging

I hear a dozen evangelists stating that we are on the verge of a great revival. One self-proclaimed prophet says that a billion souls will come to faith in the coming weeks and months. If my Rapture is imminent, how can there be an imminent revival? Which is it? The Bible does talk about a coming revival. The question concerns its timing. Is it in the coming days, or is it after the Rapture when the โ€œleft behindโ€ world realizes they should have listened to believers like you and me, get a second chance, and multitudes come to faith?
