Arguments concluded Friday in the preliminary hearing of the man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk last fall. Tyler Robinson’s defense team attempted to cast doubt on video, ballistics, and DNA evidence. Meanwhile, prosecutors showcased multiple videos of what appeared to be Robinson on the Utah campus the day of the shooting, and digital messages in which Robinson seems to confess to the murder.

In a Facebook post Tuesday, Franklin Graham thanked President Donald Trump for his role in the release of imprisoned Christian pastor Ezra Jin Mingri—founder of an underground church in China—who had been detained for 266 days. Jin, 57, was released and reunited with his wife and daughter in Los Angeles Friday, roughly two months after Trump pressed Chinese President Xi Jinping to free him during a U.S.-China summit in Beijing. Jin was arrested Oct. 11 after Chinese officials raided his home in Beihai, Guangxi Province, the previous evening and conducted an all-night search. He was charged with “illegally using information networks,” according to The New York Times.

“When a denomination votes to bless what God calls sin, the vote itself is not the real story,” he stated. “The real story is a church that has decided the spirit of the age gets the final word instead of the Word that made the age. That decision was settled long before any ballot was counted... Scripture does not leave us guessing about who we are. Genesis tells us God made us male and female in His own image, and He called His handiwork very good (Genesis 1:27, 31). A church that can no longer say so has stopped listening to the One it claims to serve and begun echoing the culture it was sent to reach."

Steven Kefas, the OFRA senior research analyst who authored the article centered on captivity in Nigeria, says “[t]he field research reveals a lesser value is assigned to a Christian life. From the moment of capture, Muslim and Christian hostages enter different realities. It is not about individual captors. It is a system—consistent across multiple states, armed groups, and multiple years of survivor testimony.”

 “There must also be urgent reform of the NMC,” she said. “It must not be captured by activist ideology or used as a weapon against nurses who hold lawful Christian or gender-critical beliefs. A regulator exists to protect the public and uphold professional standards, not to enforce contested political doctrines on sex and gender. ... Nurses must be free to speak accurately about sex, protect single-sex spaces, and act according to conscience without fear of being reported to their regulator as though they are extremists.”

“The whole call of Christ is one of transformation—not condemnation, but renewal. Christians believe that God speaks into every part of our lives, reshaping our identity, our desires, and our direction. When we fall in love with Jesus, we fall in love with His words and the moral code He sets for our life. His blood was shed for our sins. “Under this bill, ordinary Christian life could be recast as something dangerous.”

Germany’s Federal Constitutional Court officially ruled in 1975—and reaffirmed in 1993—that unborn children have a right to life. But since 2024, a campaign to decriminalize abortion in Germany has demanded the government reclassify the deadly procedure as a standard medical option covered by health insurance. This effort, however, has faced staunch opposition from those committed to protecting the lives of both mothers and their unborn children.

“Men and boys with gender dysphoria are not women or girls, even if they believe that they are,” Justice Thomas wrote. “Sex is an immutable ‘biological’ characteristic; it is binary; and ‘man’ and ‘woman,’ ‘boy’ and ‘girl,’ are the terms that correspond to adults and children of each sex.” Justice Thomas powerfully added, "To use language to obscure reality—to show 'indifference regarding the truth'—is to lie to the public and cease to treat our fellow citizens 'as equal[s].'"

The stories, collected from seven hearings held by the commission, came from parents, students, school teachers, military chaplains, military service members and health care workers, as well as private sector employees and religious institution leaders. Referring to the witnesses, Commissioner Franklin Graham said that there is “a thread that runs through all … these [testimonies], and that is the thread of what’s right and having the guts to stand for what’s right.” The report said the witnesses’ “commitment to stand by their beliefs” has played a “consequential role in preserving religious liberty for all Americans.

This spiritual war between truth and lies is being waged in the hearts and minds of people, particularly in the church. Too many Christians are being shaped by the culture rather than being shaped by the Savior and the Scripture. They are compromised when it comes to the core teaching of the Christian faith. Too many churches are throwing in the towel when it comes to the culture wars and social issues. Too many pastors are compromising their calling in the pulpit, watering down their messages from the infallible Word of God for fear of offending. There are two problems with that. Number one, people are offended too easily these days; and number two, the Bible is offensive because it speaks absolute truth for all generations.

In 2025, Labour MP Kim Leadbeater introduced the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill to allow “terminally ill adults with six months or less to live to qualify for assisted suicide measures under specified safeguards,” as reported by Christian Daily International. The bill passed the House of Commons but stalled in the House of Lords amid intense scrutiny and hundreds of proposed amendments, before ultimately expiring without a final vote. Now, euthanasia advocates are trying again.

Two former Alaskan flight attendants who filed a lawsuit after they were fired for expressing their faith-based opinions could likely find a jury to rule in their favor, an appellate court decided. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit maintained that a jury trial may find sufficient evidence to rule that Alaska Airlines had discriminated against the employees’ Christian faith, First Liberty Institute, which is representing the flight attendants, announced in a press release.

A study, which assessed more than 300 books curated by children’s publishers for America’s 250th anniversary, found that public libraries and publishers are ignoring Christianity’s role in the U.S. founding, focusing instead on progressive history.  “No books about the Pilgrims as religious refugees,” the report reiterated. “No books about the Great Awakening. No books about religious liberty as a founding principle. No books about the faith lives of the founders. No books about the Black church's role in American history, even on lists heavy with Black history content. No books about faith-motivated

These findings arrive amid a sharp rise in chemical abortions following the Supreme Court’s 2022 Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision, which returned regulatory authority over abortion to the states. Abortions using primarily mifepristone and its companion drug, misoprostol, account for between 63% to 65% of all abortions in the U.S. health care system in the last recorded data, according to the Guttmacher Institute, the research arm of Planned Parenthood. Overall abortion numbers have increased post-Dobbs, with estimates reaching around 1.13–1.14 million in recent years—an rise largely stemming from simple telehealth prescriptions and rampant mail-order distribution.

“Luke’s case should concern everyone,” Williams said. “It exposes how ‘inclusivity’ training within the police has, in practice, become a vehicle for enforcing a narrow ideological orthodoxy, where only approved views are permitted and lawful questioning is punished.” Williams continued, saying that the “message this sends is chilling: that Islam and prevailing secular orthodoxy is now treated as beyond question, while Christians and others are subjected to disproportionate scrutiny and sanction simply for asking reasonable questions during training.”
