As Parental Skepticism Increases, The American Academy Of Pediatrics Calls For An End To All Non-Medical Vaccine Exemptions

Alex Newman

As public and parental skepticism over Big Pharma’s never-ending vaccine schedule for children grows, the push to inject young Americans by force, even against their parents’ wishes, is growing too. But as tax-funded tyrants call for eliminating what medical and religious freedoms remain, anger and suspicion are exploding.

The latest shoe to drop: The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) just released a policy statement calling for an end to all non-medical exemptions from immunization mandates imposed on school children. It’s being taken seriously. But the backlash to the draconian proposal to trample religious liberty and parental rights is escalating quickly.

“The AAP advocates for the elimination of nonmedical exemptions from immunizations as contrary to optimal individual and public health,” the group said in a July 28 policy statement. The statement also called for having pediatricians crack down on families who fail to follow the “recommendations” of Big Pharma and Big Government.

In its policy paper, the far-left group of quacks infamous for promoting surgical mutilation of confused children’s genitals issued recommendations, too. “The AAP recommends that all states, territories, and the District of Columbia eliminate all nonmedical exemptions from immunizations as a condition of school attendance,” said the group, demanding a vaccine passport-style regime.

Several states have already moved in that direction including California, where Big Pharma-funded lawmakers ended all non-medical exemptions in recent years. The only silver lining is that the coercive mandates and the removal of religious liberty have driven even more families out of the state and the government’s indoctrination camps masquerading as schools.

Two states, Mississippi and West Virginia, have recently had their own laws denying religious exemptions overturned by courts. In the rulings, judges agreed with the Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN) that the denials amounted to a violation of rights guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment.

The Big Pharma-funded pediatrician group, which has been receiving tens of millions of taxpayer dollars each year from USAID and the Department of Health and Human Services, is becoming increasingly toxic for parents and doctors. But the hostility to the AAP’s latest demands may be unprecedented, with numerous respected medical organizations speaking out.

Among the groups lashing out was the Independent Medical Association, a coalition of physicians, scientists, and other healthcare professionals. “Are we in some dystopian rerun of 2020?” asked Dr. Kat Lindley, director of the IMA’s Fellowship Program. “The AAP’s tone-deaf proposal ignores the hard lessons of the COVID-19 era.”

“Parents aren’t sheep, and they’re done with government-funded healthcare bureaucrats playing doctor with their kids,” she continued. “Forcing medical decisions through heavy-handed mandates is a dangerous overreach.”

Dr. Lindley, a popular and widely respected medical doctor, suggested the AAP would fail. “If the AAP thinks it can bully families into submission, it’s in for a rude awakening—parents are ready to fight for their rights,” she said. “This isn’t leadership; it’s a power grab that could cost the AAP its credibility in healthcare.”

Children’s Health Defense, a non-profit organization long associated with U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is also sounding the alarm and speaking out. “In an act of desperation, it appears AAP is pulling out all the stops to strip away your rights,” warned CHD on social media. “This should alarm EVERYONE, despite your beliefs — states should NOT be in full control of your children’s health.”

RFK Jr. and the group’s chief scientific officer Dr. Brian Hooker released an explosive book comparing the available health data on vaccinated and unvaccinated children. The results were shocking. In short, more vaccines were strongly correlated with increased health problems across the board. And more and more parents are noticing.

Experts pointed to growing awareness of these problems as the reason why totalitarian extremists were now pushing for ending all remaining choice. Saying the “bio-pharmaceutical complex” was in “panic mode,” epidemiologist Nicolas Hulscher, MPH, at the McCullough Foundation pointed to new data showing growing public resistance.

Consider the results of a recent CDC-funded study. Only around 40 percent of parents of young children and pregnant women now say they will accept all “recommended” vaccines on schedule, the data show. About 60 percent said they would delay or refuse one or more. And a third now say they will refuse some or all vaccines outright. Half of first-time pregnant women are undecided about vaccinating their baby at all.

“Why now?” Hulscher asked about the AAP’s timing. “Because the vaccine cabal has realized that the public is now aware of the serious and irreversible neurological, developmental, and immune-related health risks associated with childhood hyper-vaccination of inadequately tested products.”

“This is why the vaccine cabal is scrambling to slam the door shut on choice — they know if freedom remains, vaccine uptake will continue to crater,” continued Hulscher. “Instead of asking why so many parents are rejecting their products, they are doubling down on coercion and mandates. The public is awake now. The more they push, the more families will resist.”

In a stinging rebuke of the AAP’s recommendations, health journalist Jeffrey Jaxen with The Highwire slammed the group for having “declared war” on the “bedrock right” to practice one’s religion. “Besides being morally objectionable, the concept is just plain unpopular in modern America,” he said.

Highlighting some of the AAP’s “greatest hits” from the last five years, Jaxen showed just how fringe and extreme the “pediatrician” group has become. Examples include seeking to allow children to consent to medical treatment without their parents, calling for medically “transitioning” children, and advocating injectable weight loss drugs for overweight children.

“As an industry mouthpiece who see children as a profit margin and pipeline demographic for drugs and shots, AAP is unmatched in its corporate ‘advocacy,’” said Jaxen. “The organization appears to have chosen another losing battle siding against religious freedom in the United States of America and with it a further loss of relevancy for the organization.”

Vaccine mandates and vaccines themselves may be losing public support. But that is no guarantee that politicians and captured bureaucracies will not do the bidding of their Big Pharma pay masters, who spent over $5 billion lobbying in recent decades. Already, Congress gave them immunity from liability for killing and injuring patients. More mandates are a very real prospect.

The tax-funded totalitarian assault on God-given rights including medical freedom, parental rights, and religious liberty must end. The response to COVID proved government should never be trusted with such power over the lives of citizens. Parents must oversee children’s health — not politicians or bureaucrats working on behalf of Big Pharma.

That is not and never will be negotiable.

America’s Greatest Need Has Never Rested In Politics Alone—It Has Always Been Spiritual

As America passed the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, many were asking an important question: What has become of the American Dream? To mark this historic milestone, Elon University in North Carolina conducted a nationwide survey examining how Americans view their nation, its government, and its future. Polls can fluctuate with current events and political climates, but they often reveal something deeper: the hopes, fears, and convictions of ordinary citizens. This survey paints a sobering picture.

Is Genesis Too Controversial To Preach From The Pulpit? Too Many Pastors Say ‘Yes’

Over the years, I’ve had so many pastors tell me that they avoid preaching the early chapters of Genesis in their churches because it’s just too controversial and can cause division. To avoid ruffling feathers, many pastors avoid it, or if they must teach those early chapters, they are often very vague, not taking a position on Genesis or presenting all the positions and letting their congregation choose for themselves. But this approach has had major negative consequences!

Called Out From The Culture: The Hope For America Is The Church

I believe that the hope for America is the church—God working through his church. Christians need to live up to their name. As Christ followers, we need to be Christlike. And if the church would be what it was meant to be, then it would change our nation. But let’s localize it. If your church would be what it ought to be, it could change your city. It could change your county, and it could change your state. Let’s localize it even more. If you would be what you ought to be as a follower of Jesus Christ and as a part of the church, then what a difference it could make in your church.
