A National Crisis Of Antisemitism: Canada Receives An Alarming Report Card On Its Treatment Of Jews

(Regina, Canada) — Once again, Canada has received a failing report card on its treatment of its Jewish community. The results were not only terrible, the findings were dark and disturbing.

Canada has been getting bad report cards for a number of years now, with 2025 being the worst yet. According to the report by B’nai Brith, 6,800 anti-semitic incidents were documented across Canada in 2025—the highest number ever recorded since the organization began tracking incidents in 1982. That is an average of more than 18 antisemitic incidents per day.

The report described Canada as facing a “national crisis of antisemitism,” noting that incidents increased by 9.4% over 2024 and by 145.6% since 2022.

B’nai Brith reported a dramatic increase in online harassment, vandalism, and incidents of violence, especially since October 7th, 2023, as well as the alarming increase in the demonization of Zionism and trends of antisemitism on Canadian campuses.

B’nai Brith Director of Research and Advocacy Richard Robertson emphasized:

Despite the October 2025 ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, Canada’s Jewish community continued to be the target of hate at a historic rate throughout the year. The 6,800 incidents of antisemitism recorded by B’nai Brith Canada in 2025 demonstrate that although the October 7, 2023 Hamas-led terror attack in Israel (October 7) seemed to open the Pandora’s box of anti-Jewish hate in Canada, antisemitism has become so normalized in our society that its incidence can no longer be tied directly to the war in Israel. The rise of antisemitism after October 7, 2023 can no longer be viewed in isolation. Antisemitism is a national crisis and must be treated as such.

In 2025, the systemic nature of the crisis of antisemitism in Canada became even clearer. Anti-Jewish hate, though largely propagated by a virulent and vitriolic subset of our society, metastasized throughout all aspects of Canadian life. Our streets, schools, academic institutions, workplaces, and online platforms were increasingly compromised by nefarious actors who wished to spread and incite hate against the Jewish community. The failure to adequately address the devolving crisis of antisemitism resulted in the occurrence of antisemitism at a historical and disgraceful rate in 2025.

It is disturbing to say the least—and not the Canada that I grew up in. I encourage you to read the report in its entirety, to inform yourself about what is going on in Canada’s Jewish communities, and get involved.

We are commanded to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6) and speak up against antisemitism whenever we encounter it. Don’t stay silent. Learn the facts and help others understand the difference between legitimate criticism of Israel and outright hatred. We don’t have to agree with everything Israel says, thinks, and does, but most of what is labeled “criticism” has veered dangerously into libels, lies, and Jew hatred.

We should reach out and stand with the local Jewish community. Go to your local synagogue, call the rabbi, and take him for lunch or coffee. Tell him that, as a Bible-believing Christian, you love and stand with Israel and the Jewish people. Support ministries like the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry that bless Israel and share the gospel—the good news of Israel’s Messiah—with the Jewish people. Above all, be a Christlike witness, responding with truth from God’s word, compassion, and courage.

Let’s stand bold against this anti-semitism in the days in which we live.

What does the God of Israel have to say about all of this? Especially when we consider this disturbing report.

God is taking note, and He will judge the nations on how they treat His chosen people. Don’t believe me? Listen to what God Himself says in Zechariah 2:8-11: “For this is what the Lord Almighty says: After the Glorious One has sent me against the nations that have plundered you—for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye—I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me. Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you, declares the Lord. Many nations will be joined with the Lord in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the Lord Almighty has sent me to you.”

That is speaking of Israel’s Messiah. Notice those striking words, “whoever touches you touches the apple of His eye.” There is a warning here that God will shake His hand against those who come against His chosen people. You can be sure of that. God will bless those who bless the Jewish people, and He will curse those who curse them. period.

The bottom line is this: Canada may have received a dark and failing grade as this report outlines, but if God were to evaluate your life today, what would your report card look like?

Anyone who knows the history of Islam and the West knows this doesn’t end well

Muslim populations in Europe, Canada, Australia, and right here in the United States are growing at a rapid clip—so is the building of mosques. What makes this mass immigration so unprecedented is that these new Muslim arrivals have been welcomed in by their host countries. Despite approximately 1,400 years of confrontation between Islam and the West and jihad after jihad launched against non-Muslims, today's so-called Western leaders apparently think this time will be different. If you understand Islamic history, you know how dangerously wrong they are.

Damascus: The City At The Center Of One Of The Bible’s Most Dramatic Unfulfilled Prophecies

Reports and photos have recently emerged of the Syrian Arab Army soldiers standing in formation outside the historic Damascus Citadel and chanting violent threats directed toward Jews. According to published the soldiers declared that they were coming for the Jew and spoke of making Jewish blood flow like rivers. These were not simply civilians arguing on social media. They were members of Syria's military. Standing in Damascus. For students of Bible prophecy, these details are hard to ignore. Damascus is not merely another Middle Eastern capital. It is a city whose name appears in one of the Bible's most dramatic unfulfilled prophecies.

‘A Firm Reliance On The Protection Of Divine Providence’: Finding The Way Back As One Nation Under God

It is no secret that America has largely turned its back on God. Children are encouraged to find their own truth from a young age, and mentions of God in our public schools are brushed aside or removed. Church attendance is rapidly declining as self-help strategies promise the answers to life’s problems. We’ve traded Divine guidance for subjective truth—“it’s up to me decide what is right and wrong.” And even the concept of biological sex and gender is up to the preference of each individual. It is clear that secularism has infiltrated every aspect of society, and the results are catastrophic. The further we stray from God, the deeper we sink into hopelessness.
