Franklin Graham to Gov. Cuomo: Protection of Human Life Should Apply from ‘Womb to Tomb’

Franklin Graham took to Facebook following the comments of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to point out that his calling for the protection of Life should apply from ‘womb to tomb’:

In a news conference today NY Governor Andrew Cuomo said, “My mother is not expendable, and your mother is not expendable and our brothers and sisters are not expendable, and we’re not going to accept a premise that human life is disposable, and we’re not gonna put a dollar figure on human life. The first order of business is save lives, period. Whatever it costs.”

I agree with Gov. Cuomo on the high value of life and applaud his efforts to defend lives from the coronavirus.

Yet he signed a law that legalizes abortion up to birth for nearly any reason. I respectfully urge the governor to consider his statements today in light of the millions of innocent lives taken by abortion. In 2017 alone, 105,380 babies lost their lives by abortion in New York.

Human life is not expendable, and we should work to save it—from womb to tomb.

Many Facebook users also agreed with Rev. Graham’s point, explaining that they too were shocked by the hypocrisy of the Governors statements:

“Yes, let us pray that God Thee Almighty works in the heart & mind of Gov. Cuomo and so many others, who have clearly Not valued the sanctity of life from conception,” wrote a commenter on the social media platform.

“Very well put Mr. Graham Love that you have pointed out the truth,” one man said. “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. If he could fund abortion and speak of the sanitity of life he is deceiving many as he is deceived himself.”

“Talking out both sides of his mouth. Hopefully this can be a time of restoration of morals and repentance,” another concluded.

As the country attempts to pass through laws that will help and aid Americans in this time of crisis, Democrats are seeming to prioritize their own political agendas.

Yesterday, Rev. Graham urged Christians to pray for the lawmakers in Washington:

“Our lawmakers in Washington need prayer today—that they would be able to work together, and that they would look to God for wisdom and direction in this critical time for our nation,” Graham explained. “They need to set aside any and all political agendas and partisanship and come together on steps our nation needs to take.”

“Instead of yelling and backbiting, we need prayer and teamwork,” he continued. “Many hurting Americans do need and will need help. I don’t know the details of the economic stimulus they are debating, but I do know that we also need a spiritual stimulus. We need to re-focus on God, heed His Word, and put Him first. The Word of God reminds us that, ‘Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.'”

Debunking Popular Lies About The Pre-Tribulation Rapture

One of the most unpopular beliefs among Christians today is that of the pre-Tribulation Rapture. Many not only scoff at our expectation of meeting Jesus in the air, but also ridicule those of us who believe it could happen at any moment.
