Weaponization Of Psychiatry: Man Raising Concern About CCP Influence In Canada Detained In A Mental Health Facility Without Warning

What’s happening is a five-alarm warning—and that is not an overstatement.

Nicholas Jordan Wagter is a 27-year-old Canadian researcher who studied biophysics at Western University and has a master’s degree in innovation management from the University of Toronto. Wagter was sitting in a cafe in Vancouver when a psychiatrist spotted him.

The psychiatrist issued what’s called a “Form 4” provision in British Columbia, a mental health act that allows the police to detain Wagter for a “mental evaluation.”

Wagter, a Conservative, had been raising concern about Chinese influence in Canada, including foreign land grabs, policing, and policy influence. Without warning, he was pulled over in traffic and had a frightening conversation with police:

Officer one: I’m going to certify you under the Mental Health Act. We’re going to bring you to a hospital, do testing on you. And you’re going to talk to a psychiatrist in a controlled environment because we don’t believe that you’re going to attend an appointment.

Wagter: I’ve never been given a chance to attend an appointment.

Officer one to officer two: He’s certified.

Wagter: I’ve never been given a chance to attend an appointment. What is going on? I was never given a psych evaluation, nothing. He just looked at me and said, ‘You’re certified.’

Officer two: I don’t know why, but it’s up to the doctor.

Wagter: Please, please consider what you’re doing. And please think about the fact that I’m more than happy to come in for an appointment. I’m happy to go through and do everything properly. Okay. I just, I’ve been completely compliant with everything.

Officer two: Yes. You’ve been really good with me, Nicholas, but listen, that’s his call. And unfortunately—

Wagter: He hasn’t talked to me.

This is insane. Do you understand what just happened? I hope it didn’t fly over your head. A Canadian psychiatrist recognizes this educated young conservative influencer, and he is detained by police in a warrantless apprehension.

If that doesn’t frighten you, it should.

The video of his detention was posted on May 23rd, and as of the time of publication, Wagter remains in a mental institution.

This is not just a Canadian story; this is an American story that hasn’t happened yet.

This is the weaponization of psychiatry. When the Liberals in Canada run out of arguments, when they can’t win the debate, when they can’t silence the speech or opposition, what do they do? They reach for a tool—and the tool is a mental health designation.

If you’re a student of history, you know that the Soviet Union did this. Political prisoners were diagnosed with “sluggish schizophrenia.”

“Oh, Daniel, that will never happen in America!” Oh, really? What makes you say that? The Democrats have already weaponized the entire Justice Department to take down Donald Trump, who was leading Joe Biden at the time to become the next president of the United States. They have already indicted their political opponents and opposition to try to force them into submission. The party that screams about “Democracy” has already proven that they don’t care about the rule of law. They have shredded democracy with hoax after hoax.

This “Form 4” is the Canadian version of the weaponization that we saw targeting President Trump. We better pray and speak up—and loudly—that it doesn’t ever happen in the United States of America.
