Suppressing The Truth: Atheists Are Outraged When Astronauts Give Glory to God

All eyes have been on the skies recently as people followed the journey of four Artemis II astronauts as they went farther into space than any other human had ever gone. The pictures have been beautiful, but even more so has been the great testimony of astronaut Victor Glover, who keeps pointing people toward the Creator God.

Here are a few quotes from this Christian astronaut while in space, pointing people toward Christ as millions watch.

“I think these observances are important, as we are so far from Earth and looking back at the beauty of creation,” Glover stated in an interview on Resurrection Sunday. “I think for me, one of the really important personal perspectives that I have up here is I can really see Earth as one thing. When I read the Bible, and I look at all of the amazing things that were done for us, who were created, you have this amazing place, this ‘spaceship.’ You guys are talking to us because we’re in a spaceship really far from Earth. But you’re on a spaceship called Earth that was created to give us a place to live in the universe, in the cosmos. I think maybe the distance we are from you makes you think what we’re doing is special, but we’re the same distance from you. And I’m trying to tell you, just trust me, you are special.”

“As we continue to unlock the mysteries of the cosmos, I would like to remind you of one of the most important mysteries there on earth. And that’s love,” the astronaut stated shortly after the launch from Earth. “Christ said in response to ‘what was the greatest command’ that it was to love God with all that you are. And he also, being a great teacher, said the second is equal to it, and that is to love your neighbor as yourself. And so as we prepare to go out of radio communication, we are still able to feel your love from Earth. And to all of you down there on earth and around earth: we love you from the moon.”

“My career is fed by my faith. Anytime I do something that’s pretty risky, I pray — before I fly, every time I fly. Definitely, when you go sit on top of a rocket ship,” Glover stated in a previous interview. “In the military, there’s a saying that there are no atheists in foxholes. There aren’t any on top of rockets, either.”

Of course, others are reporting that many atheists online are upset about this. They want people to see the wonder and beauty of the universe and to worship the creature—science, technology, human ambition and achievement—rather than the Creator God, who is to be praised forever. They are actively suppressing the truth in unrighteousness and are upset that this one particular astronaut isn’t doing it alongside them! Sounds like Romans 1.

But it’s obvious to all—whether here on earth or out in the cosmos—that God created the heavens and the earth. It all exists to give glory to him. And it does it well.

“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.” (Psalm 19:1)

Misidentifying The Enemy: What Happens When a Nation Can No Longer Recognize Its Allies?

When a nation loses the ability to distinguish between allies and adversaries, truth and propaganda, leadership and political theater, it becomes vulnerable long before the first battle is lost. The headlines may change, but the underlying challenge remains the same. As conflict intensifies in the Middle East, foreign governments expand their influence, and political narratives compete with objective reality, Americans are confronted with a pressing question: Can we still recognize the difference between those who defend freedom and those who seek to undermine it? These are not isolated controversies. They are warning signs that discernment has become one of the most important responsibilities of our time.

A Debt We Can Never Repay: Why Israel Should Have A Place In Every Christian’s Heart

Yes, Christianity has emphasized the biblical message of grace for two thousand years, and the spread of the Church has been extraordinary. But that message is ours because it was passed down from the Jewish people. The Gospel was born in Israel. It was nursed and cradled by the Hebrew nation in the land promised to their ancestors. It was Jewish apostles who carried the Gospel to the ends of the earth. The first churches were established by Jewish missionaries. Our faith—from beginning to end—flows through Israel.

The Slippery Slope Of Australia’s Spirituality: A Deliberate Campaign Of Atheism

On 29 July 2026, the church that I pastor played host for the Brisbane leg of a tour of Australia by Amir Tsarfati and Pastor Barry Stagner. On that blessed evening, over 1,000 people gathered together for praise, powerful preaching, prayer, and of course, photos with these two beloved servants of God. Even though we hired a large venue for the evening, seating was limited. This meant that, sadly, many missed out on being able to attend. One such person who was not able to secure tickets remarked that it would be wonderful if this was the dilemma faced by every Bible-believing church in Australia on a Sunday morning. Yet Australia's overall spiritual landscape suggest a disturbing deterioration away from Biblical belief.
