The leftist media is stoking fear, accusing President Trump of starting a trade war. The truth is that this war has been waged on the US for decades, and Americans are finally waking up.
Kevin O’Leary, who many recognize as one of the businessmen featured on the ABC television series “Shark Tank,” says 104% tariffs on China are not enough. He is calling for 400%. “Mr. Wonderful” is a billionaire investor who swims with sharks all the time, but this is different.
“I want Xi on an airplane to Washington to level the playing field,” O’Leary stated in a CNN panel discussion. “This is not about tariffs anymore.”
“They cheat, they steal,” he stated, expressing his frustration. “They steal IP. I can’t litigate in their courts. They take product technology, they steal it, they manufacture it, and sell it back here. As someone who actually does business there, I’ve had enough. I speak for millions of Americans.”
Trump’s tariffs aren’t just about economics. They’re about national security and bolstering American sovereignty. Over 70 countries have already agreed to drop all tariffs on American goods to zero. This list includes countries such as Taiwan, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, and even Israel—a diplomatic achievement the media is downplaying.
Conservative political strategist Scott Jennings on CNN had this message for America’s global trade partners: “We’re trying to do something different here. We think we’ve been taken advantage of, and we’re responding to the working class of this country. If you will help us, if you will understand that we can have a fairer system here—that’s fair to the United States—then we can align ourselves against the true enemy, which is China. And if you want to get in bed with China and think they’re a trustworthy partner, that is a complete ridiculous, stupid, terrible idea.”
President Trump says America has been sick for a long time and needs medicine. Democrats in the establishment and their lap dogs in the media are in a meltdown because they are part of the disease.

Why is the left enraged by Trump’s tariffs? The answer is perhaps better illuminated by asking a different question: Why are Democrats actively working against a flourishing and strong United States?
A weakened America that is reliant upon other nations is great news for those who champion globalism and despise the Judeo-Christian values the United States was founded upon. While the Democrats were in office, American borders were deliberately degraded, morality was polluted, financial fraud and abuse were rampant, freedoms, including religious liberty, were targeted, and the country’s world superpower status teetered on the brink of collapse.
The goal of global elites was plainly expressed: “build back better” a new globalist system on the ash heaps of a once-Christian America.
That all changed when Trump re-entered his Oval Office post—putting a halt on the destructive ideologies that sought to weaken America and thus destabilize the world as a whole.
An America that properly reflects its Bible-believing foundations, honors God, is charitable, is lawful, safeguards national sovereignty, and seeks to protect freedoms at home and abroad. Those who care about the well-being of world nations should applaud a strong United States.
