The Only Glimmer Of Hope For Lebanon Is For Hezbollah To Be Cast Into The Ash Heap Of History

There’s one major roadblock to a new Middle East, to a region where Israel lives in peace and prosperity with its Arab neighbors. That roadblock is the Iranian axis. In Iraq, Gaza, Yemen, Lebanon, and Syria, Iran’s regime has spent years creating chaos and surrounding Israel with a ring of fire, a proxy network sworn to the destruction of the Jewish state.

The crown jewel of this evil empire is Hezbollah. Over a period of decades, Iran’s most lethal proxy turned southern Lebanon into its own personal terror kingdom, armed to the teeth and perched on Israel’s border. But much like its masters in Tehran, Hezbollah is now a shell of what it once was, thanks to the full force of the Israeli military.

As a result, for the first time in a long time, there is a glimmer of hope in Lebanon. President Trump met yesterday at the White House with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, and they envisioned a future without Hezbollah.

โ€œWe are going to solve a lot of problems,โ€ President Trump stated. โ€œWe’ve already solved some of them for Lebanon. As you know, there’s a Hezbollah problem. But we’ve done some things that I think the world will take notice. Again, it’s been a very badly treated place and country, and we’re going to have it properly treated and treated with the respect that it deserves.โ€

You can’t have a normally functioning country when a terrorist entity that takes its orders from Iran has created a state within a state inside your borders.

Hezbollah’s continued poisonous influence in Lebanon is holding up some potentially great things.

โ€œThe Abraham Accords have been, I think, a tremendous success,โ€ President Trump said. โ€œI think you’re going to see a lot of countries joining pretty soon. As you know, we have our original group, and it’s so successful for themโ€”economically successful. It’s been that nobody left even during this time of conflict. So, no, I think Lebanon has a very important place.โ€

Folks, the possibilities here are endless once the Iranian terror axis is out of commission and the job, God willing, is finished. In the meantime, the Trump administration is facilitating some very promising talks between Lebanon and Israel.

Folks, it’s very clear that there is one major roadblock to a region where Israel actually lives in peace, at least for a periodโ€”we know what the Bible says!

Hezbollah is the elephant in the room, but things are developing rapidly as Iran’s axis is decreasing and being weakened like it’s never been weakened before. Possibilities that just a few years ago were not even on the radar screen are now opening up, including the real possibility of normalization between Israel and Lebanon.

Hezbollah needs to be cast into the ash heap of history along with its Iranian masters.

Remember, there is a large Christian population in Lebanon, beleaguered many times by jihadists there led by Hezbollah, of course. Keep that in your prayers. A future peace between Israel and Lebanon would be a game-changer.

Marxism’s Unyielding Aim To Overturn Western And Christian Foundations

Communism has never gone away. Itโ€™s still with us today. It is a worldview that seeks to replace God, undermine the family, abolish private property, and destroy biblical moralityโ€”and itโ€™s doing a very good job at that. As Christians, we shouldnโ€™t be surprised. The Bible tells us there is a spiritual battle behind every false ideology. Thatโ€™s why we must know history, know our Bible, and recognize that ideas have consequences. If weโ€™re not careful, communists will take over America. The Communist Party says exactly what it intends to do. It tells you what it wants to do. The tragedy is that too many people donโ€™t pay attention until itโ€™s too late.

Standing With Boldness: Why Has Christian Higher Education Surrendered Its Biblical Worldview To The Culture?

The story is so common that it almost seems inevitable: A college or university is founded as an expressly Biblical institution, but at some point it changes. Some might become completely secular; others may introduce liberal theology or progressive social policies. Harvard, Yale and Princeton are well-known examples; in fact, seven of the eight Ivy League schools in the U.S. were founded to train pastors but left behind that mission long ago. In the 1970s, Harold Lindsell sounded an alarm in his bookย The Battle for the Bible, in which he called out seemingly evangelical institutions that had abandoned the infallibility of Scripture. That abandonment, Lindsell argued, โ€œalways and ever opens the door to further departures from the faith.โ€

The Slippery Slope Of Australia’s Spirituality: A Deliberate Campaign Of Atheism

On 29 July 2026, the church that I pastor played host for the Brisbane leg of a tour of Australia by Amir Tsarfati and Pastor Barry Stagner. On that blessed evening, over 1,000 people gathered together for praise, powerful preaching, prayer, and of course, photos with these two beloved servants of God. Even though we hired a large venue for the evening, seating was limited. This meant that, sadly, many missed out on being able to attend. One such person who was not able to secure tickets remarked that it would be wonderful if this was the dilemma faced by every Bible-believing church in Australia on a Sunday morning. Yet Australia's overall spiritual landscape suggest a disturbing deterioration away from Biblical belief.
