Submerge Yourself In The Bible And Watch How The Holy Spirit Transforms Your Life

2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV – “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

Transformed is an incredible word. In the Greek language, it suggests that a thorough and dramatic change has taken place. The believer’s transformation begins at salvation, but the fantastic truth is that it keeps going when we immerse ourselves in God’s Word.

Immersion produces unbelievable results. I know this because I met a soldier on his way to a renowned language school operated by the U.S. military. His covert assignment required him to blend into a foreign region without detection by learning the native language, dialect, and customs—a feat that required total immersion. Not a word of his native tongue would be spoken or written by the instructor as he learned the language and ways of another country. That soldier knew he would come out of his studies changed.

In a biblical sense, the apostle Peter was a lot like that soldier. His transformation into a deep-thinking, courageous defender of the faith came through immersion in the Scriptures, year after year. Peter went from glory to glory, and the uneducated Galilean fisherman eventually penned the technical and theologically profound book of 2nd Peter. God’s Word, energized by the Spirit, can do that when it gets inside a person.

Dear saint, when you accepted Jesus, a tremendous change occurred, and the course of your life changed. By God’s design, you are not and never will be, the same. I encourage you to submerge yourself in the Bible and watch how the Spirit transforms your life.

As Leftist Programs Struggle To Survive, ‘Progressive’ States Are Paying The Price For Denying The Truth

As more people who seek the government affirmation of their personal choices relocate to states that promise those benefits, those regions will face growing financial pressure. At the same time, higher taxes and expanding government obligations make them less attractive to families, businesses, and workers who value opportunity, responsibility, and the freedom to keep more of what they earn. By contrast, states that build public policy on truth, personal responsibility, and enduring moral principles are better positioned to flourish. Yet the longevity of that outcome is not guaranteed. With a nation and Congress that are so closely divided, a five-seat Republican majority in the House and a six-seat majority in the Senate, the outcome of every election will determine who controls Congress and the federal purse — and whether fiscally responsible states will once again be asked to subsidize policies they have rejected.

European Parliament Strongly Condemns Ongoing Persecution Of Christians In Nigeria Following Village Massacre

The resolution strongly condemns the Kawel massacre and calls on the EU Special Envoy for the promotion of freedom of religion or belief outside the EU to “pay particular attention to the deteriorating situation of Christians and all persecuted religious communities in Nigeria. The resolution also calls on the Nigerian authorities to prosecute those responsible for attacks, to “strengthen both counterterrorism operations against armed militants, particularly in the Middle Belt region, and efforts to counter Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province”, and to improve early-warning systems and adequately address the situation of internally displaced persons.

Will America Last Another 250 Years?

Looking back, there can be no denying that God has indeed shed His grace—His unmerited favor—on our land, from sea to shining sea. But does our national “soul” encourage self-control? Do our laws champion ordered liberty? Is our success tempered with nobleness? Is brotherhood the defining characteristic of any good we aspire to reflect? By all of those measures, America seems decidedly adrift. We are drifting farther and farther from Nature’s God—the Ruler of the Universe our Founders called upon and credited with for our celebrated independence.
