The High Court of Justice has unanimously rejected all petitions against Benjamin Netanyahu forming a new government while under indictment, as well as petitions calling on it to strike down the coalition deal between Netanyahu and Benny Gantz.
The court says there is no legal justification to prevent Netanyahu from serving as prime minister.
And judges say though the coalition agreement “raises serious legal difficulties,” there is no place to intervene in its clauses at this time, in light of amendments and clarifications presented by the prime minister and the Blue and White and Likud factions.
