(Regina, Canada) โ Recently, during an interview with a Bloomberg podcast, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney was asked if he would enforce the International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahuโand his answer was nothing short of a betrayal of Israel.
“Justin Trudeau said that Canada would honor the International Criminal Court arrest warrants, i.e., Benjamin Netanyahu would be arrested if he came to Canada,” the interviewer began. “Does that stand under your leadership?”
“Yes,” Carney responded.
“You’d be prepared to do that?” the interviewer further prompted.
“Yes,” he reiterated.
Of course, Carney is following in Trudeau’s footsteps, continuing the Liberal Party’s anti-Zionism stance. This stance is nothing short of anti-semitism.
Israel is an ally! What is the Liberal government thinking?
To his shame, Carney has taken steps even further than Trudeau by officially recognizing the state of Palestine in their quest for a “two-state solution” last month.
This is a ludicrous stance to take against an ally. It is supposedly to our “friend” that Canada declares, “If you set foot in my country, I’ll have you arrested.” For what purpose does he betray Israel? It is a desperate attempt to impress and align Canada with the International Criminal Court, an institution primarily driven by European politics. This is utterly disgraceful!
Meanwhile, the United States, our closest ally, withdrew from the International Criminal Court under President George W. Bush, who warned that it could be easily used for political purposes rather than for true justice.
The truth is that Benjamin Netanyahu has not been tried, convicted, or found guilty of anything. At this stage, the ICC’s actions simply “represent” allegations. There are no proven crimes whatsoever.
To think that an ally would be treated this wayโespecially after what happened on October 7th, 2023โis unthinkable. That brutal massacre left 1,200 Israelis murdered, raped, tortured, and butchered, with 250 plus innocent hostages dragged into Gaza’s tunnels to suffer unimaginable cruelty.
In the days that followed October 7th, 2023, we witnessed Palestinians celebrating in the streets, handing out candy, and glorifying the attack on Israeli civilians. Polls conducted in the so-called “West Bank” (Judea and Samaria) and in Gaza revealed that the majority of the Palestinians supported what Hamas did. Hamas is a demonic death cult devoted to annihilating Israel. Why do they have “Palestinian” support? Because Palestinian media, social platforms, textbooks, and mosques parrot a message of hatred towards Israel. This culture of hate has poisoned generations. They are all guilty.
This is what the Jewish State is dealing with. And yet, for defending its people and seeking to destroy an enemy driven by a lust for Jewish blood, the Prime Minister of Israel is the one accused of war crimes!
Netanyahu is a leader of one of Canada’s greatest allies and a fellow defender of Western values and freedom. Despite this, Carney, when choosing a side, preferred to side against Israel and lend his support to those who cheered on terror and murder. According to Carney, the terrorists are victims. I can’t get my head around that.
It is despicable that Israel, a nation standing for democracy, faith, and survival, is condemned while those who glorify violence are excused.
What does God have to say about all of this? Very simply, God blesses those who bless Israel and brings judgment on those who curse them. Friends, that includes the Jewish people and the land itself. They are part and parcel.
The land of Israel was promised by the God of Israel to the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as an everlasting possession. He is gathering His chosen people back to their ancestral homeland because that is what He promised.
When I speak of Israel, I speak of the land and I speak of the people. They are one and the same. If you are going to take a stance against Israel, single them out and agree to arrest Benjamin Netanyahu on “war crimes” after what happened on October 7th, you are bringing shame on yourself and your nation.
Israel may not be perfect. No nation is. But if our leaders can’t distinguish between those who call for Israel’s destruction and those who are defending their right to exist, then God help us.
Judgment is comingโthat much we can be sure of.
