Ken Ham: Dare I Say It? The President Is A Hypocrite.

In October of this year, we heard the shocking news that Hamas terrorists who invaded Israel had killed 40 babies (beheading some). It was a terrible atrocity. Political leaders from around the world condemned this evil done by the terrorists.

The president of the US, Joe Biden, said, “This was an act of sheer evil. More than 1,000 civilians slaughtered—not just killed, slaughtered—in Israel. Among them, at least 14 American citizens killed. Parents butchered [while] using their bodies to try to protect their children. Stomach-turning reports of being—babies being killed. Entire families slain.” President Biden also said, “It’s abhorrent. . . . The loss of innocent life is heartbreaking. . . . This is what they mean by a ‘human tragedy’—an atrocity on an appalling scale. . . . These atrocities have been sickening.”

Dare I say it? The president is a hypocrite. Now, I do agree with all the quotes above! But here’s what is also sickening: President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, along with many other political leaders in this nation, are insistent on making it legal to kill babies in the womb by abortion. Abortion is also an atrocity—an atrocity of horrible proportions.

Consider this: around one million babies—human beings made in the image of God—are murdered in their mothers’ wombs each year in the US (not counting those aborted at home, etc., using various drugs). Abortion is a shocking holocaust.

We read of shocking slaughters of babies down through the ages. At the time of the exodus, Pharaoh ordered the killing of young Israelite children. And when King Herod heard Jesus was born, he also ordered the killing of young children. Many past cultures practiced child sacrifice.

We are appalled at all these atrocities. And remember, God hates “hands that shed innocent blood” (Proverbs 6:17).

But there was one baby whose death we celebrate. God’s Son stepped into history two thousand years ago as the babe in a manger, to be the God-man, Jesus—so he could later die on a cross to save us from our sins. But he didn’t stay dead. He rose from the dead, conquering death and the devil, and offers the free gift of salvation to those who will receive it.

We mourn for those babies slaughtered by evil terrorists and abortionists. But we rejoice at the death of the one who became a baby born of a virgin to rescue us from the consequence of our sin so those who receive the gift of salvation can spend eternity with our Creator and Savior in heaven.

Will Iran’s Plan Of Tanking The Global Economy Cause The US To Pull Back?

Iran says it is now engaged in a “full-scale war” with the United States. Iranian President Mahmoud Pezeshkian, who is supposedly one of the more “moderate” figures among Iran's fanatical jihadist leadership, made the remarks earlier today, and judging by events that unfolded over the weekend, the regime clearly wants to escalate. They want to tank the global economy and drive up oil and gas prices, which they believe would then force the US to stand down.

The Danger Of Reshaping Christianity To Fit Culture: An Evangelical Pastor’s Open Letter To James Talarico

When theological claims are presented in the Name of Christ, people naturally assume they are hearing Biblical truth. My concern is that some of the positions you advocate may lead sincere people away from the clear teaching of Scripture and toward a version of Christianity that reflects the spirit of the age more than the Word of God.

Called Out From The Culture: The Hope For America Is The Church

I believe that the hope for America is the church—God working through his church. Christians need to live up to their name. As Christ followers, we need to be Christlike. And if the church would be what it was meant to be, then it would change our nation. But let’s localize it. If your church would be what it ought to be, it could change your city. It could change your county, and it could change your state. Let’s localize it even more. If you would be what you ought to be as a follower of Jesus Christ and as a part of the church, then what a difference it could make in your church.
