Chinese Christian Media Ordered to Include More Communist Propaganda

PRESS RELEASE

China’s only legal church, the Communist Party-controlled Three Self Patriotic Movement (TPSM), has been ordered to publish more communist propaganda in its “Christian” media.

During a meeting of the TPSM’s Media Ministry Committee in mid-April, Bitter Winter reported that Communist Party officials directed the TPSM to publish more news, stories, and content containing Xi Jinping’s thoughts, teachings, and other Communist Party documents and information.

This is yet another clear example of the Sinicization of Christianity in China, with the already compromised TPSM bowing to directives from the ruling Communist Party to prioritise Xi Jinping’s ideology over teaching from God’s Word and publishing independent and God-honoring media stories rather than regurgitating Communist propaganda.

Denying God’s Authority: The Driving Force Behind Our Culture’s Rejection Of Absolute Truth

Is truth whatever one wants it to be? Are statements like, “You have your truth and I have my truth” legitimate? Postmodernism floods universities with this definition of truth. This view believes that truth is in the eye of the beholder; it is relative and subjective instead of absolute and objective. Thus, Christianity’s absolute and objective claims are met with skepticism by postmodernists.
