The issue of disunity was because the members were not centered on the Mind of Christ. If they imitated the mind of Christ described in Philippians 2 then these issues, whether ‘selfish ambition or conceit’ would dissipate.

Notice the consistency of the ‘drink offering’ metaphor. We can conclude from this that every area of our lives can be used as an offering for God.
