The video has drawn condemnation not only because of what it shows, but also because of what led to the incident: the removal of 44 French Jewish teenagers the woman was supervising from a European flight, allegedly for the crime of speaking Hebrew.

The Trump administration has withheld substantial federal funding from several Ivy League schools that have ignored antisemitism on their campuses and threatened to remove their tax-exempt status. Still, the fact that America’s most prestigious schools deal with antisemitism only when facing federal pressure demonstrates their moral vacuity.

Australian authorities have denounced these acts of antisemitism and established task forces to police such incidents. Still, many Jewish Australians wonder if they should look for another home. “The children of Holocaust survivors have told me they’re glad their parents aren’t alive to see what Australia has become,” Ryvchin wrote. “It won’t end with arson. The question before Australians now is: Will someone get killed before it does?”

Antisemitism is running rampant in Canada. Of the nation’s 40 million inhabitants, only 398,000 (roughly 1%) are Jewish. Yet, that tiny Jewish community suffers 70% of the country’s religiously motivated hate crimes. In fact, the New York Post called Montreal the “antisemitism capital of North America.”

Let the Word of God be your standard of reality—not the Conservative Manosphere. The Apostle Paul calls what you are doing boasting against the natural branches, and he warns us not to do it (Rom. 11:11–27). By denying that Israel — even in her fallen state — has any claim to the land of promise, you are rejecting God’s self-revelation as immutable, faithful, merciful, gracious, and long-suffering.

Those who hate Israel often call for intifada, an Arabic word meaning “uprising.” Pro-Hamas demonstrators carry signs with slogans like “Intifada Until Victory,” “There Is Only One Solution: Intifada Revolution,” and “Globalize the Intifada.” Members of the media and higher education assure us these messages are calls for peaceful protests and boycotts, not war. But reality tells a different story.

Campus antisemites will keep making their laughable claims of Israel’s alleged genocidal intent. News outlets will continue their agenda-driven vendetta against Israel. But facts still matter—and the fact is, when it comes to Hamas and Israel, there simply is no comparison.

Though Jewish people always have confronted antisemitism, the United States has been a safe harbor for them. The recent, sharp rise in antisemitic incidents and the failure of many key American institutions to address this evil in their ranks demonstrate a marked shift in the country's view of the Jewish people.

By definition, anti-Zionism delegitimizes Israel. Just consider that the movement’s proposed solution to their complaints is not the end of Israeli policies they dislike but the destruction of Israel itself. For proof, look no further than their well-worn protest chant, “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free!” Free from whom? Free from the Jews.

Many of America’s mainline denominations began playing this theological Jenga in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Having rejected fundamental Christian doctrines, they pulled down many denominational towers. What’s left of their milquetoast doctrine is motivated more by trending notions of social justice than “thus saith the Lord.”

From Egypt’s Pharaoh to Persia’s Haman to Germany’s Hitler, many a world leader has attempted to destroy the Jewish people, defying God’s declaration that He will “curse him who curses” Israel (Gen. 12:3). Even today, motivated by a satanic hatred, many say, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more” (Ps. 83:4).

A BHS teacher encouraged students to take part in the walkout, sponsored by the Arab Resource and Organizing Center, by offering them excused absences. Middle school students also attended, encouraged by their teachers. Students shouted such slogans as, “Kill the Jews,” “[Expletive] the Jews,” “[Expletive] Israel,” “KKK,” “Kill Israel,” and “I hate those people.”
