We Must Act: Believers Have Been Exceedingly Negligent In Influencing Government

When God is the focal point of a nation, the blessings it seeks to enjoy will be theirs. Yet, many American leaders are convinced that eradicating Christianity’s influence is the key to our nation’s future success—an opinion previous generations soundly rejected. While not all of America’s leaders have held deep religious convictions, many have, and most understood, that a vibrant Christian faith is essential to our future.

Founding Father James Madison referred to religious freedom as the “luster of our country.” He and Thomas Jefferson worked together to make the state of Virginia the most advanced in protecting Christian liberties.

In the twentieth century, Calvin Coolidge voiced:

“The foundations of our society and our government rest so much on the teachings of the Bible that it would be difficult to support them if faith in these teachings would cease to be practically universal in our country.”

President Gerald Ford also affirmed the role of Christianity in American life:

“Without God there could be no American form of government, nor an American way of life. Recognition of the Supreme Being is the first, the most basic, expression of Americanism. Thus, the Founding Fathers of America saw it, and thus, with God’s help, it will continue to be.”

Believers have been exceedingly negligent in influencing government by not electing leaders who stand for righteousness. But the time has come when we must act differently.

God will bless or curse this nation according to the choices we make. Let us get up, get out, and make our voices heard. Let us fervently pray for the Lord’s mercy to be upon us! May He graciously provide leaders—men and women—whose hearts are aligned with His.

Capitulating To A Vanquished Iranian Enemy?: The Good, The Bad, And The Unknown In The Memorandum of Understanding

Have you ever had a person in your life that you greatly admire and respect do something that completely shocks you, and not in a good way? Your heart breaks; you wonder what’s happened. How could this person do these things? It makes no sense! That is how I have felt these past few weeks as I’ve watched the actions taken by President Donald Trump. I love the man. He has done so much for my country, especially when it comes to how we’ve dealt with Gaza. But his recent decisions regarding Iran have left me baffled.

Disregarding Biblical Morality: Denomination Faces ‘Sharp Internal Backlash,’ Arguing That A Monogamy Requirement For Pastors Would Be ‘Harmful’

And this kind of moral relativism is what will happen to every denomination that abandons God’s Word as the authority and embraces man’s word instead. If God’s Word is not the authority, ultimately anything goes because morality becomes subjective and arbitrary based on human opinion (man’s word).

Jan Markell: You Can’t Have A Genuine Revival With False Doctrine Raging

I hear a dozen evangelists stating that we are on the verge of a great revival. One self-proclaimed prophet says that a billion souls will come to faith in the coming weeks and months. If my Rapture is imminent, how can there be an imminent revival? Which is it? The Bible does talk about a coming revival. The question concerns its timing. Is it in the coming days, or is it after the Rapture when the “left behind” world realizes they should have listened to believers like you and me, get a second chance, and multitudes come to faith?
